@MDC Fishtown, Philadelphia, is home to the city's first mural celebrating transgender and gender non-conforming individuals, called "We Are Universal". This mural, located at Cake Life Bake Shop, was created in partnership with residents of Morris Home, a residential recovery program for transgender people. Additionally, the William Way LGBT Community Center, though not exclusively in Fishtown, offers resources and support for the transgender community, including a weekly drop-in social group.
