A guy I know from High School dove head first into the shallow end of a pool in Mexico. He broke his neck, luckily his friend jumped in and pulled him out. But to this day (15 years later) he is paralyzed from the waist down and in a wheel chair.

Personally, I would never marry a woman with kids. I can't be a step dad. I just can't But my cousin has Endometriosis and cant' have kids of her own, she is an amazing step mother. Her step son turned 18 and moved out of her "real" Mom and real Dad's houses and in with her. (His actual Dad cheated on my cousin and they divorced) So I can see how a great step-parent can change a kid's life.
