I've been called in multiple times where I just sat there for 8 hours and they said. OK we have a jury you can go home. Expect your check for $12 in 6-8 weeks.

I told a judge I could not be fair because I did not Trust the police in the arresting city (that I grew up in, I went to HS with most of those idiots). She emptied the court room and grilled me. I stood fast that i could not be fair because i would not Trust the Police account of what happened. And she excused me.

My girlfriend is currently on Jury Duty. It's a DUI case involving being high on marijuana while driving. The Prosecution said there is no way to test that during jury selection. So it's her word VS the Officer. My girlfriend is like" I wanna be on the jury, it's like being in a TruTV episode" I was like "You want to miss your $20 per hour job for 3-5 days to make $15 dollars per day because it sounds fun?" Ugh.

I think the problem is, running/working in Government is a pain in the A$$ and good people don't want to deal with that. Only, greedy, power hungry people are like "let me roll the dice and see if I win and see what happens. let the gift begin!"
