Stupid Policy if true. But that's in the past. I walked across the border and back two months ago, from San Diego to Tiajuana. It was easy, but thorough, they didn't check any documents going into Mexico, just a metal detector for bags. Coming back into the USA I had to have my ID and was asked several questions about why i was in Mexico. One guy had the wrong answers and they took him into a room.

The "blue left" may be over represented by the census. And the House. But the "Red Right" is over represented in the Senate. The President shouldn't need the Electoral College. It should be elected by ALL the citizens regardless of where they live. Then they can all work together. But the "Red Right" has a advantage in two of those three currently... Because of the Electoral College. So a lot of "Blue Voters" feel like Rural areas (less people) are making decisions for them. (More people) Just like many Rural voters are "afraid" CA and NY will make decisions for them if it goes away.

Just find a few things you really wanna see. The trolley system is like $2 each way wherever you wanna go. And super easy to use. There is a station right at the end of the gas lamp. Between the hard rock hotel and the convention center.

I was staying at the Hard Rock. In the gas lamp about a month ago. If it's a Padres game night. It will be packed. They shut down the street. If not. You still can't go wrong just wandering and seeing what you stumble into. The trolley system is super cheap and easy to navigate if you wanna go to Old Town, Seaside, La Jolla, Little Italy (Tiajuana maybe not if you're avoiding trouble) Coronado you would have to Uber.
