Shots fired near Trump as he leaves Florida club
purdygood replied to F1erce's topic in The Geek Club
There has definitely been a lot of "insane". "Hateful" maybe less so (but it exists going back way before he was President, the central park 5, birtherism, etc etc) more like a lot "victim hood lies" allllllll the time. He just gives off a crazy vibe. That sets off crazy people. Some call that TDS. But TDS works both ways. People who love him and people who hate him. -

I don't condone people trying to kill him. But there is also a correlation between his insane hateful speech and insane hateful people wanting to take him out. You draw in the energy you put out. -

What is Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell going to do today? Meeting at 2:30 EST
purdygood replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Fair enough! I dont think Farmers are out there like Mr. Burns rubbing his hands together say "excellent" everytime they get a check from the Government. I'm just asking the question if that's what's best in the grand scheme of things. Thank you for your perspective though! -

But but i thought American companies weren't price gouging, it's all due to inflation, not greed. If they are getting cheaper goods from non american farmers. Why do they keep charging more and more and more. If American companies dont want American farmers goods, why are we sending them any subsidies at all? -
I agree. But there are levels to law breaking. No? Some are bad. And some are awful. That's where the kerfuffle exists. How to punish different degrees of law breaking.

I was always partial to St. Francis and St. Anthony.

Who are your favorite Saints? Just curious.

When it comes to "Sanctuary Cities". Law abiding illegals should feel free not to be reported for calling the police or just living their life's. And those who break the law should not be deported.... They should be in jail with a maximum sentence (if it's a felony or misdemeanor that requires jail time) for whatever they did with no parole. Then deported after their sentence is up. It's a pretty simple win win.
-
If a certain city has that policy. Then yes, I am against that. There is nuance.
-
Well there might be some good material on there. I've never heard of the site but i'll check it out. Also what kind of weirdo comments in the comment section of porn videos at all!? And who are these guys paying for "onlyfans" you know there is like, free pictures of naked ladies on the internet. And taking a girl on a date or going to a strip club or even flying to Mexico would be cheaper than. $9.99 a month, if you are a incel...

Typical. Hypocritical Projectionist Republican. Sounds kinda like the Guy running for President. Only I doubt he knows how to use the Internet. When he wants Porn he just calls Epstein ... oh wait. I'm sure he has Stormy's number in his Rolodex somewhere.

Do you know what a "sanctuary city" is? It literally is not a "invite" to "come here". It just means "hey if you are here. And you are scared to report a crime because you are undocumented. We want you to report the crime and we wont rat you out to the feds". Thats pretty much it. Saying all that I understand that would invite illegals to cluster in those cities. But I also want them to feel safe calling 911 if a Legal person is committing a crime. Let's say you came here Illegaly 10 years ago. And you see your next door neighbor "Steve from Wisconsin" beating the s--t out of his wife. But you don't want to call 911 because you are are afraid of being deported. I guess Martha just gets to take her beating. In this scenario the illegal has been here 10 years. Hasn't committed any crimes other than being a sous chef at your favorite restaurant Applebee's.

"You're". You got it right once. Name one thing... Just one, that I have ever said that is "Socialist" ?

Class action lawsuit against Amazon Prime. Who is with me?
purdygood replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Probably because the players have that breather baked into their routine. At least just show us the cheerleaders. -
Seems like your definition of "shutting everyone up" is being right and logical. Check Websters.

Your Mt.Rushmore Of Comedians-Spermoff
purdygood replied to BunnysBastatrds's topic in The Geek Club
If you have not seen Bo Burnham's 3 Netflix comedy stand up specials... you have not lived. -
(You're) I am 100% not socialist. I'd rather my taxes go down and people figure it out on their own. I am not for hand outs at all. Dead wrong. Per usual. We should be taxing Churches (scams) however.

I'm calling for a 7th! (I've been to Mt. Rushmore, during Sturgis, it was weird and kinda boring to be honest)

I get it, when times are tough companies "have to" raise prices. But when profits are at all time highs, they NEVER lower them. It's a vicious cycle. -
I have Amazon Prime, but ew. What a pain in the a$$. I started choosing not to watch, with all these "app" games.
-
Old man! haha Fair enough! I understand things from your child hood can resonate. Like I said, I'm sure some comedians I like you'd be like WTF haha all good! I would listen to Dice on the Howard Stern show when i was driving to High School. haha
-
I am 42. I am not hating, I just was never into Eddie Murphy. The whole SNL Gumby thing. Just meh. But I'm sure there are comedians I love that you would hate, it's all subjective! That's why i love comedy!
