You do need a Name, Birthdate, Address, Social Security Number that all need to match and be verified to register in CA. Then when i show up to vote. They ask for my name and address. And I sign a book verifying that it is me. (A felony if im lying). So why the ID? If i forgot my wallet i cant vote? I mean my ID says i'm McLovin. It's totally believable.
