We always draft on 1st Sunday of August, so already have a preseason RB trade offer of Henderson for Pollard straight up. Already have Diggs so don’t wanna overload on Patriots. Am I wrong or would you counter with Pollard/Diggs to get Henderson/Jamo?

I came across this bit of info today. I know this is a little outdated with the current state of football, but this goes along with my previous post about Richardson & the combine. Bill Parcells had rules about drafting QBs (obviously he’d have to tweak them a little now) 1) Must be a graduated Senior 2) 3 yr starter 3) started at least 30 games & won at least 23 4) 2-1 TD-INT ratio 5) completed 60% of passes The combine is great for a job interview & maybe tie-breaking info. But nothing beats experience & game film, especially for a QB. The prime examples in today’s NFL are Richardson vs Purdy. Just found it interesting

Not worried at all. Never felt he was a top-tier talent anyway & that’s proven by only getting a 6th round pick. This is strictly for depth & he’s only going to get 5-7 touches per game. No chance is he going to significantly eat into CMC’s time unless CMC gets hurt.

Richardson is the epitome of a combine mirage. He can pass all the physical tests but when it comes down to showing football instincts he has none. “Potential” clouds better judgement when a QB has only 1 season of college starter experience. There are many cases of QBs struggling with their 1st team & then finding a better situational fit later. Levels of success vary, but it’s not unusual. Stan Humphries, Rich Gannon, Drew Brees, Geno Smith, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold all found success later on with coaches & systems that they found comfortable. (1st 3 even made it to the SB & 1 is a HOFr) Not expecting Jones to throw for 4000 yds, but he’s definitely better than Richardson as of today

Interested in why you say that. What players you feel strongest about (good or bad)?

Allen - running upside & 40+ TDs Nabers - 150+ targets Brown - RB with receiving upside on top-notch offense

Understand the dilemma, but gotta go Nabers. He’ll be gone by 9 & you can try to redraft the others

CMC fell to me at 9 in my 14-T. By all accounts fully recovered from last year & looks just fine from clips I’ve seen. Most mocks I did had him going sooner as well, but actual humans seem to have more concerns than AI does

Barkley then Chase with Robinson, Henry, Lamb rounding out top 5 as of now. Chase will get his no matter what happens with Higgins, though I think CIN lets him leave. Higgins is great when he’s healthy, which is only about 8 games a year
