Great Post Voltaire! Your alias name fits you perfectly! I have a similiar experience as I wondered why NONE of my prayers were ever answered. Maybe there is no God or maybe we have to save ourselves. Regarding the afterlife, I have come to the belief that our spirit is an energy and energy is always transferred, so when our physical body ends our spiritual energy is transferred somewhere.

I pray to God and Jesus every day from my home. I don't trust churches or priest. Too many peepaws perverts and freaks.
