Still alive in mine. Started with 1,773 entries, down to the final 40. We had to start picking 2 teams in week 13.
Right now, I am leaning towards Tampa Bay and Indy. Thinking of swapping one of them out for Pittsburgh since Big Ben is playing. Don't love taking divisional games if it can be avoided and everyone seems to love Indy this week. Philly has lost like 7 in a row and figure they are due eventually.

I also own Jennings in my long time re-draft league. Starting Cobb over him this week.
He'll have 9 days to rest before Green Bay's next game. Hoping he'll be ready to go.

I run a 12-team standard scoring re-draft league. Count my vote in the one bench spot for every starter spot category.
We added a RB/WR/TE flex a few years ago and added 2 rounds the draft and thus 2 spots on the roster (9 starters- QB, RB1, RB2, WR1, WR2, Flex, TE, K, D/St and 18 player rosters). No limit on the number of each position you can carry.
Agree with some regarding thin WW, but we charge for each transaction ($5, $2 if player is injured) and have still seen WW pots in the $450-$500 range.

stick with white, he's gonna catch fire with ryan as the falcons realize that they need to score points to win. maclin is also good but he's not the threat that white is although he's just as quick. sproles has limited ceiling
Thanks, cheezy. I countered with Sproles and Holmes for White. I'll probably end up caving and give up Maclin if it gets the deal done.

As the commissioner of my league, the only spot you have to have a starter is D/ST since they can score negative points in our league. If you fail to field a D/ST, you get the lowest score of that week's starting D/STs.
For other positions, I basically leave it up to the owners, but will gently prod poor teams to field a valid line-up to maintain the competitive integrity of the league.

I would not trade rice for anyone right now.

I have been offered Roddy White in exchange for Darren Sproles and Jeremy Maclin.
I think I'd be giving up a little too much, but it would make setting my line-up easier. Full team in sig.
I could counter with McGahee and Maclin or Holmes for Dez Bryant.
What say you?

Rolling with Olsen over Fred Davis who laid an egg for me on Monday night.
Waited on TE during the draft and took Olsen and Jared Cook. Dropped Cook for Davis after week 2. Started Olsen week 1 and 2 and Davis last week...ugh!

Thanks!
After you create an account, go to the "My Account" tab, and it should show you a link like the one I used, that you can give to your friends to sign up as your referrals.
I'm in too. Another $10 in your account, plus $15 for me ($10 from Axe Elf and $5 sign up bonus).
Looks like a cool site. You better not be scamming us, Axe

I guess it depends on the type of receiver you'd receive in return. Your team seems pretty solid and the depth at RB could come in handy with the bye weeks starting soon, nevermind the rash of injuries that have already occurred this year.
I'd be thrilled to roll out Fitz and Desean every week at WR.
-
I would trade CJ2K for Fitzgerald in a heartbeat. You have good depth at RB and there has been no sign that CJ2K will snap out of his funk anytime soon. Plus the Titans have been throwing the ball a ton (although that may change now that Britt's gone down).
I would definitely take Fitz over Roddy since you already have Matt Ryan and that would be putting all your eggs in the basket of an offense that hasn't looked quite right yet this season.

Something needs to happen...and fast. I'm running out of options to start at WR with Maclin getting dinged up this week. Paging Nate Burleson, Antonio Brown and Eric Decker, will a WR2 please stand up?
-
Debating whether I should start him his a flex in a non-PPR league over Reggie Wayne. Figure Thomas has a bigger upside than Wayne does against the Pittsburgh defense. Starting Maclin and Holmes as my 2 WR.
-
Don't reach for a QB.
I had the second pick in a 12 team non-PPR league and drafted Ray Rice. I was targeting Mike Wallace at #23 in the 2nd round. He was drafted at #22. I panicked and took Drew Bress when there was still RB value to be had (MJD, Steven Jackson, Frank Gore). I ended up with Reggie Wayne in the 3rd round and played catch-up on RB and WR for the rest of the draft. I really planned on waiting for a QB this year(targeting Freeman and Stafford in the middle rounds) and taking Brees at #23 threw me off my game.

I have 5 entries in my pool and always like to spread them around early in the season.
1. Green Bay (Super Bowl winner has never lost since they started playing the Thursday night opener)
2. Kansas City (home team playing non-divisional opponent)- may change depending on Cassel's health
3. San Diego (home team playing non-divisional opponent)
4. Arizona (home team playing non-divisional opponent, plus rookie QB on the road)
5. Cleveland (rookie QB on the road)

I'm loving Atlanta this week. San Fran is flying east to play a 1 PM game. Look it up, the records of west coast teams flying east and playing 1 PM games is horrific. I believe several west coast teams petitioned the NFL a few years ago to cut back on 1 PM games when flying east. I guess it didn't make a difference, this is Atlanta's second early game against a west coast team this season (Arizona in week 2).
And it certainly doesn't hurt that San Fran just fired their offensive coordinator and has looked terrible this year while Atlanta has looked fairly impressive except for week 1 at Pittsburgh (no shame in that).
You beat me to the punch, Travis Henry!
-
Starting him as my RB2 with Spiller as my flex. Match-ups don't get any juicier than Cleveland at home.
-
I grabbed MJD at 4 in my 12 teamer this Saturday based upon the latest news that there was no surgery and he would be ready for week 1. I didn't want to regret passing up 1500 yds/15 TDs at the end of the year. If the knee really is an issue, then I guess I'm screwed. However, I did grab Rashad Jennings late as insurance.

ESPN actually has a pretty decent page for points against by position.
-
God, I hope Orton plays (never thought I'd type those words).
My WRs are thin after Moss and Marshall and Chris Simms looked like dogs**t last week.
-
As a Pierre Thomas owner, I hope he's not worth owning. But yeah, that offense puts up a ton of points, definitely worth a bench spot. Tried to pry him from another team in my league on the cheap and they wouldn't bite.
-
Trying to pry him from an owner in my league who has no WR depth.
Offered McFadden and B. Marshall or D. Hester or D. Mason for Benson and Louis Murphy (will be dropped).
I'll still have Randy Moss and 2 of the above WR plus Manningham and Chris Henry. The Raiders are awful and I just don't see DMac being a regular starter.
-
Nope. They gave you the option to start the waiver process before the start of the season. However, once the regular season games started, the waiver process was automatically started.
Waiver processing is now included in my league calendar.

Gordon X 2. Won one league and lead the other by 20 points (me- J. Thomas, him- Welker, Prater).
If I pull out both victories, I'll feel a hell of lot better and use Gordon going forward without reservation
