    Yikes...still can't trade Forte in my opinion, especially in a PPR. Try and move McFadden or Bowe for a QB. Nothing on the Waiver wire?

     

     

    Yeah I tend to agree....if Fitzpatrick just gives me 20pts a week, I would just ride it out, but I am not confident in that happening.

    Here is what I have been offered. Carson Palmer and Steve Smith for Forte and Ogletree.

     

    Here is my current roster:

    QB's Vick, Fitzpatrick

    RB's Forte, McFadden, Hillman, Redman, Ridley

    WR's AJ Green, Decker, Bowe, Ogletree, Hixon

     

    Start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR 1 flex. TD's 6 pts, 1 ppr

     

    I feel like I am getting the better deal(Palmer plus Smith) but I hate trading away my 1st round pick. Please convince me!

    Agreed...Pass on CJ. Reading as of right now, he is nowhere near close to signing. I don't think you can risk the 5th over all pick on that. Now is he still sitting there in the 2nd round....

    Hi Fizzelps. Were we emailing about this?

     

     

    Nope. But thanks for checking in. Like I mentioned, I pulled an old copy from a backup and them cut and pasted the "2nd site" data into the backed up version. Worked like a champ. In comparing the 2 versions there were some odd columns on the "Def tab" that either was the issue, or just showed the issue. If you really want to figure it out, I can send you the "bad" version to take a look.

    After importing data using projection pal my cheatsheets will fail when attempting to compile. Here is the specific error I am getting.

     

    "Run-time Error '1004': The sort reference is not valid. Make sure that it's withinthe data you want to sort, and the first Sort By box isn't the same or blank."

     

    I get a "done" on the first 4 sections under the "compile cheatsheets" button, then the error throws. I have tried just choosing 100% FFtoday to rule out something with the imported data, but I am still getting the error.

     

    HELP!!!!!!

    Kind of tough here. I lean towards having the game on, but I would just not allow any players in the game to be started. I think if you want them to have the possibility to start...then no TV/or cells. Does no one use a laptop in your league? If they do..then no laptops....provided there was wireless access anyway.

     

    Oh....DRAFT FREAKING EARLIER NEXT YEAR! I kid a bit as I just had our draft last night do to the same kind of issues.

    Wow..these were some good examples. It does sound like many were with groups of people that didn't know each or at all or very well, and I can se how this would crop up more in a league like that.

     

    I commish a league that started with 10 friends and has grown to a group of 12. We have had "outsiders" filter in...out out...over the years, and some have had issues with me. But everyone of them was due to their inability to read the set rules for the league. I chalk it up to good riddance!

    I am not sure when the stats were officially changed by the NFL. Here is the rule in our league:

     

    Scoring Adjustments

    If you feel one of your players deserves a scoring adjustment in anyway, e.g. due to the NFL changing some call, and it would make a significant difference to your game, the commissioner must be notified by the 6th day after the incident in question or the start of the next weeks games.

     

    So, if you don't have something specific in your rules, not sure what to tell you. I mean...if the commish hadn't been on a 2 week vacation, would this have happened sooner?

    Ok...so I drank the FFtoday hype and thought I was getting a steal at QB with D.Garrard.......I got robbed was more like it. So my QB situation is horrible. Here is the current outlook of my QB/RB

     

    QB - Garrard

    QB - Cassel

     

    RB - Portis

    RB - B. Jacobs

    RB - S.Young

    RB - W.McGahee

    RB - L.Betts - (Portis Backup)

     

    So I am being offered Arron Rodgers straight up for W.McGahee. I could also get one of these 3 guys from the WW :Jason Campbell, Trent Edwards or JT O'Sullivan.

     

    I know McGahee hasn't done jack this season, but there were pretty high hopes for him this year. So.....do I make the trade or just try an improve my QB's via WW?

    Everyone seems to be shying away from Young lately because of the Denver RB Jitters. But the fact is, he is still the clear starter for a powerful running team, and even if he splits carries 60/40, that still puts him in line for something like 1,200 yds rushing. That's a top-15 or 20 RB, even if his TD totals are just okay. For him to be on the waiver wire in a league of any more than 5 teams is just ridiculous.

     

     

    Agreed. I think Young is the clear cut choice here.
