Starting him.

My WRs are a bit thin. Nicks, Maclin, Britt, and T Young. RBs are DMC, Mathews, Sproles, AP, J Rodgers, and Tate. PPR league I would offer Tate for Colston. Essentially turning my 12th round pick (Tate) into Colston. Smart move?

Never trade a kicker and a rookie QB before week one begins. Don't do it. PS: you're gonna need another kicker. Drop Charles!

Arian Foster (knee, questionable) missed Texans practice on Friday and will be a game-day decision Sunday against the Dolphins. We're becoming more and more concerned with Foster's availability. Per beat writer John McClain, coach Gary Kubiak "said he's optimistic" about Foster's Week 1 status, but "didn't sound real encouraging." Foster came down with a sore knee at the end of Thursday's practice. The Texans were concerned enough to give him an MRI. While they insist the exam came back clean, Foster didn't take the field on Friday and looks questionable at best for Week 1. Ben Tate would be a 25-touch candidate if Foster were to be inactive. For what it's worth, Foster told reporters Friday he "expect(s) to play on Sunday." We'll see. Related: Ben Tate Source: John McClain on Twitter Sep 7 - 1:53 PM

Grabbed Tate as well. I don't have Foster but couldn't let the Foster owner wait any longer. Got Tate in the 12th (10 team). Foster owner should have grabbed him much earlier.

Drafted BUf along with DET. The schedules matchup perfectly except for week 5. Got them both cheap too. End of draft.

The Patriots practiced for the first time today as a 53-man unit, and they were out in full pads to get ready for the season opener against the Titans. Right tackle Sebastian Vollmer and defensive tackle Kyle Love returned after missing Friday’s session. However, tight end Aaron Hernandez departed early during the media portion, which consisted of stretching and the start of positional drills. Safety Patrick Chung was in a red non-contact jersey. Running back Shane Vereen (three straight absences), running back Danny Woodhead (first absence), safety Steve Gregory (first absence) and tight end Visanthe Shiancoe (19 straight absences) did not participate. Offensive lineman Nick McDonald participated in the running portion, but he was in sweats. Anyone have any info on this? I have to think if it was an injury, it would be all over. Maybe some personal stuff????
-
I'm hoping no injury. I have to think if it was, we would have heard by now. Never know with Belichick.
-
2RB, 2WR, 1 Flex (RB, WR) Thanks for the input. I obviously drafted without regard for injury. I'm not a big fan of "playing it safe".
-
DMC Matthews Sproles Nicks AP (couldn't pass on the value) A Hernandez Maclin Rivers Britt Big Ben T Young Ben Tate (wasn't gonna let the Foster owner get him this late) Detroit J Rodgers K Rudolph Buffalo M Bryant Plan went out the window when I couldn't pass on AP. I took Hernandez because nothing was jumping out at me. Anyway, did I sell myself too short @ WR?
-
Looks like a pretty well balanced team. Solid everywhere. One thing I would do is backup Witten. If AP comes through and one of you're #3 WRs step up, you're golden. Mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=405592&view=findpost&p=4816059

Detroit at home against STL looks good. I drafted DET along with Buffalo. I usually don't take 2 defenses and just play the waiver game each week. That's been getting too expensive. DET and BUF matchup nice throughout the whole season. Good luck. Mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=405592&view=findpost&p=4816059

Was planning on staying away from him. Got him in the 5th round of a 10 team PPR as my 4th RB. Willing to take the chance at that point. No way I feel good about him as a #2 or even a #3. I hope they ease him in otherwise I think he gets hurt again. Dude is a specimen and a beast though. If anyone can heal quick, it's him.
-
Have to reach at RB. Which would you take?
Tacks replied to The Bears are Back's topic in A Little Help!
Forte. Then D Murray in the 2nd (if he makes it back). -
Wouldn't touch him. Shanny will jam it in your bung hole!!!
-
Coming out of the first two rounds without a RB is not a good idea. Charles as my number one would scare me more than having M Ryan @ QB than A Rodgers.
-
Don't forget about Torain. If he's active, that's not a good sign for Helu.
-
PPR league. With Jackson a GTD @ 3pm, I picked up V Brown just in case. OR...... I could go with Demaryius Thomas @ 1pm. What would you do? Jackson plays @ DET, Thomas plays @ Buffalo.
-
Daniels for sure (even with Yates). St Louis is actually stout vs TEs. As for your defenses, flip a coin. Both are very good plays. I would lean slightly towards the Cards.
-
PPR league. Start 2 RB, 2 WR, and one flex. Ray Rice is a no brainier so theres one spot. Pick one more RB, 2 WR, and one FLEX. Roy Helu @ NYG Marshawn Lynch @ CHI Felix Jones @ TB Miles Austin @ TB Demaryius Thomas vs NE (32nd vs pass) Vincent Jackson vs BAL Anquan Boldin @ SD A few things... I'm leaning towards starting Thomas as I think DEN will have to throw a ton and he's been hot. Sitting V Jax? Also considering sitting Lynch @ CHI. Am I crazy?
-
Thanks. It's really hard to sit Lynch but I read somewhere that he's been mediocre at best vs good run defenses. That's about all Chicago has going for them right about now. for Felix, I'm Thinking he's fresh, the only back they have, and TB sucks vs the run. Helu scares me a bit with shanny there. He's the one I consider sitting for lynch.
-
Need a little help. Lynch has been on fire and is playing @ STL who are 25th vs the run. Do I have room for him in my lineup? Here is my lineup without Lynch. Who would you bench to start him? 2RB, 2WR, 1FLEX. Also, it's a PPR league. RB - R Rice vs CIN RB - D Murray @ WAS WR - A Boldin vs CIN (lost both top corners) WR - V Jackson @ CHI (bottom half vs the pass) FLEX - L Robinson @ WAS (top 10 vs the pass) Not to confident in V Jax as he is Boom or Bust. Boldin worries me a bit with all the talk of getting the ball more to Rice. Robinson is the 3rd option behind Bryant and Witten but he's been solid lately.
