    Indianapolis at Tennessee: In-Game Discussion

Only one reception for Hilton so far and it's 4th quarter. Not watching. Did he get hurt or something or do they just suck?

Derek Carr Rest of Season ranked 29?

Considering Carr is supposed to be back next week (I think?), I'm surprised FFToday has him ranked as 29th for the rest of the season. Do others agree this sounds shockingly low, or is there reason to suspect his injury will linger and cause either greatly reduced production and/or continued/repeated missed games? Even Jacoby Brissett is ranked higher, who should lose his job any week now to Andrew Luck.

    Bilal Powell

Point taken, but the main point is that he only got 2 carries, which sucks if you're somebody who bought into him having a big game today. Were you satisfied with his useage/performance?

    Bilal Powell

Correction: He ended the day with 2 total rushes for 5 yards. Great breakout performance. WTF

Derek Carr Rest of Season ranked 29?

OK great, makes sense. Appreciate the explanation.

    Allen Hurns

Starting him this week for the 1st time, but pretty much only because I have to (due to bye weeks) and didn't find anybody on waivers much more promising. Not real confident, but also hoping he gets a relatively high number of targets, catches a few of them, and a TD would be really nice.

Where's Jordy? Everyone else is getting in on the action early.

    Cowboys at Cardinals: In-Game Discussion/Tilting

Is JJ Nelson not playing? All I need is minimal production from him tonight to win my matchup this week. Ugh.

LOL, I thought Jerry said he was going to fire everybody on his team who kneeled? I knew that was a total bluff.

    Is Gillislee a sell high?

Anytime you're getting a lot of goal line work, your YPC is not going to be that impressive. For people saying his goal line work will vary, I still maintain that the Pats sure spend a lot of time at or near the goal line in most games played over recent years. No reason to believe they won't be in goal line situations quite often this season as well. Gillislee is a better back than Blount, who had 18 TD's last year. I see little reason to suspect Gillislee won't continue to be impressive, even if he never gets tons of yards each week.

    Expectations for Gillislee tonight

What do people think of his useage tonight? Didn't play alot this preseason, but clearly showed much promise last year. Is anybody playing him with confidence, or are you playing a wait and see approach with him? I can't decide to use him as a FLEX or play Rishard Matthews. Thanks.

    Expectations for Gillislee tonight

Generally yes, but New England sure does spend alot of time near the goal line.

    Expectations for Gillislee tonight

Well of course I decided to sit Gillislee. Now he already has 2 TDs.

    That's simple to answer: NO

    Expectations for Gillislee tonight

I guess that's about where I'm at too. I'm assuming he's the primary goal-line guy (?), and am not expecting a full load of carries, as they'll distribute the wealth, I am hoping that he'll get at least one crack at the end zone. So low yards (40-50) and a TD, which would be good enough, I suppose.

Ellitot's appeal likely to be August 29

Elliott just went with the 4th pick in the 1st round

Ellitot's appeal likely to be August 29

I know many people think going to the courts will mean he'll get to play all year, like happened to Brady previously, but what if it doesn't? I can't imagine drafting him early then finding out the court system worked pretty fast and after playing half the season, all of a sudden he gets suspended for the last 6 games of the season. That would ruin any team. No thanks for me.

Ellitot's appeal likely to be August 29

It "could" come through, but it also might not come through. I don't like to take much risk with my first 2 draft picks, and the potential for one of those picks to sit out close to half a year is a risk too high for me. My draft is in 13 minutes, so not much more time for any more information that might sway me. If I could grab him with my 3rd pick, I'd probably do it, but he won't fall that far.

Ellitot's appeal likely to be August 29

I dunno, I doubt I'll draft him. Too much uncertainty.

Ellitot's appeal likely to be August 29

Yes, suspension upheld. So what's the next step? My draft is in 30 minutes!
  22. aggiewildlife

I have the 3rd pick in about an hour - PPR

I'm drafting in an hour myself and was hoping this would be figured out tonight. Alas, it is not, so I don't know what to do. Probably will keep him ranked outside the top 2 rounds because if he gets suspended at this point and it's NOT to start the season, the potential of him being suspended later in the season would be devastating to any playoff aspirations for a fantasy team. I'd like to think it will go to the courts and he plays all year, but it's just a big unfortunate risk. I probably won't get him.
  23. Dude had 18 touchdowns last year and is being drafted/ranked incredibly low this year. I realize he's on Philly now and not New England, and there will be fewer scoring opportunities as a result, and that he's a 2-down back, not a 3-down back, but he's the undisputed goal-line option for Philly. They don't have a Gronkowski or any of the other major options that New England had, although I recognize too that makes their red zone situations perhaps more predictable. Still, I have a hard time believing he won't approach 10 TD's this year. Jesus, Ryan Matthews had 8 TD's last year for Philly. Is there a good reason he's being drafted so low? Seems like a good value pick, worth perhaps bumping up a few notches in my personal rankings.

    If Blount is cut?

Philly has a better O-Line than NE. Won't argue with you on the other 2 points though.
