    I just traded Matt Ryan

Of course it's a good trade. McCoy's a higher value than Ryan, and Vincent and Fitz are at least comparable, although I'd prefer Vincent, so in both pairs, you got the better deal.

    Justin Forsett? Who's starting him?

10-team league, and very few teams seem to be making any roster moves. Sort of boring. Anyway, I love Hyde but right now West is in a better position to produce. Should Gore go down, Hyde will immediately move up to RB1 level of production, however.

    Justin Forsett? Who's starting him?

I added him then dropped him for Terrance West. Now I'm thinking of dropping West for Carlos Hyde. Decisions, decisions....

    Some News About Ben Tate

As a Tate owner with both West and Crowell available on the wire, it's hard to know what to do. Drop Tate and pick up West? But after Tate returns, does he get the bulk of the carries again or does that depend on how well West (or Crowell or both) produce in his absence? Makes me think maybe I should just avoid the Cleveland backfield altogether and pick up Steven Jackson or Hyde or Ingram, who are all available in my 10-team league.

    Who's dropping Jordan Reed?

I'm thinking of dropping him too, but was also waiting for something a little more specific than "could miss some time."

    Gordon/Welker vote TOMORROW

Yes, what's going on? I thought we were supposed to hear something around 7. It'd sure be nice to know tonight before players clear waivers tomorrow AM.

    Nice gimmick stupid NYJ

What happened? And why would anybody purposely watch a Jets/Raiders game?
  8. I can't decide if I want to start Matt Ryan vs. New Orleans this week or Colin Kaepernick vs. Dallas. Dallas defense is atrocious, so it's a good opportunity for Kaepernick but they also looked pretty bad during the preseason, and possibly could be running more than throwing. Matt Ryan is going to have to pass a ton to keep up with New Orleans, but NO has a much improved defense, especially against the pass, so don't know how successful he'll be, it's a tougher matchup than playing against Dallas. Please advise, I will respond in kind to all help, thanks!

    Which 2 RB's do I start?

Well, that's a good problem to have. I'd still go Ball/Murray but you really can't go wrong. Please see mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=436217

    All about Ellington

I just don't think it's worth the risk on Ellington, so I'd start any of the others, I'd go with Allen then Floyd. Please see mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=436217

    Flex Help Also

hmm, I guess I'd go T Williams. I just don't know how much playing time Greene and P Thomas will get this week and doubt Helu will get much time at all. Dallas will be forced to pass alot to keep up with San Fran. Please see mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=436217

tate or gerhart help me/i'll help you

I'd go Tate this week. Pitt's D sucks and Cleveland has no passing game, so they're going to be running alot. I like Gerhart better for the season for sure, but this week, his team is going to fall behind early and often and will be forced to pass more than run. Good luck. Please see mine, thanks,. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=436217

    Ellington or P Thomas

Agreed, you just can't risk playing Ellington this week. Please see mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=436217
  14. Ugh, I don't like any of those plays this week. One RB who's a backup, one who is splitting carries, so I guess I'd reluctantly try your luck with Smith at WR, but just not sure. Good luck. Please see mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=436217

    Starting RB & WR

I'd go Gerhart at RB, your WR options all seem like pretty good plays. I'd probably go Allen and Floyd, then maybe Cooks, and Decker last. I think people overthink these things, it's week one, who are the top two that you drafted? Most likely it's Allen and Floyd. Please see mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=436217

    flex help...sankey olsen colston

Question 1 ::::: Vjax or Decker

I agree, start VJax. Please see mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=436217

Pick 2: G. Tate (DET), Maclin, Ridley, or T. Williams (DAL)

I agree, I'd go with Tate and Maclin. The New England RB situation is too unknown at this point, I'd wait to see how week one goes before considering playing Ridley. T Williams is not a bad option, but an injury risk this week. Please see mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=436217

    Post your lineup thread.

Matt Ryan (OR Colin Kaepernick, I keep going back and fort, can't decide) Dez Byant Vincent Jackson Michael Crabtree Adrian Peterson CJ Spiller (blah, wanted to start Ellington) Zach Ertz Brandon McManus Cincinnati
  20. OK, 3 of the 4 kickers playing Monday night are available, so I could potentially wait until tomorrow evening, then make a move to add one of them before Monday. Thanks.
  21. Any idea if we're going to here today about whether this new policy will go in effect or not? Like some others, I dropped my Kicker for Gordon, and will need to figure out what to do by the end of the day today so I can either drop Gordon or somebody else to have a Kicker in my lineup by tomorrow.

So what are people doing with Welker?

Fellow Welker owners, I didn't really want Welker to begin with but he fell so far in my draft, I felt he was a good value pick at that point. Now he's been suspended and won't play until at least week 6. So I'm wondering what other Welker owners are doing about this, is anybody just flat out dropping him? That's a significant amount of time to just be sitting on your bench. Is he worth holding on to, or is there a chance that whoever replaces him (Caldwell, Lattimer, etc.) ends up doing good enough that Welker might not get as many looks even once he returns? He was hot early last season, but it seemed that Manning ended up favoring other options as the season progressed (9 TD's in the first 8 games, 2 TD's in the final 8 games), so maybe continued declining production is what we can expect anyway. And if you're considering dropping him, what types of WR's are you considering replacing him with? Is anybody dropping him for one of his replacements, such as Lattimer? Or are you just going with best available WR's still on waivers. In my 10-team league, I could add either Latimer or Caldwell, but other options include Boykin, Nicks, Stils, Britt, Hawkins, Dobson, Jennings, Kendrell Thompkins, John Brown, Allen Hurns, Amendola, and others. Just trying to get a feel for how other people are handling this, thanks.

So what are people doing with Welker?

I guess my point is that last season was a tale of two Welkers. First half of the season he was catching TD's every single game, second half of the season hardly at all. I'm trying to figure out if I let a guy sit on my bench for close to half the season, I'd like to know that he's going to produce when he returns, but if he's the same guy we saw the second half of last season, then that's not exactly WR2 production, not worth using the bench space. If there's some reason to expect he'll return to his former production, I'd love to hear it from Denver homers or others, but if one of these other guys, like Latimer, takes the role and excels, then it would seem even less likely Welker will just fully replace them when he returns.
  24. My first round draft pick, T-Rich, sucks. He has 2 TD's on the season and is averaging less than 50 yards per game. I stuck with him after the trade, thinking it would take a game or two to get up to speed with the new offense. Then after Bradshaw went down, I thought this would significantly boost his production. Wrong again. Indy just substituted D Brown back in where Bradshaw was getting carries, it would seem, and T-Rich is still only getting partial duty. T-Rich is averaging 3.0 yards per carry, worst on the team. Bradshaw averaged 4.5 ypc, Brown is averaging 5.9 ypc, and even Luck is averaging 6.5 ypc. Everybody seems capable of rushing the ball except T-Rich. So is he droppable? Or is there reason to expect the best is yet to come? Does the Wayne injury affect his performance from here foreward? I don't see why it would, but maybe so. I have a tough week this week as I have 5 players on a bye week plus an injured James Jones who may not play, so 4 of my 6 WR's are out. I have Reggie Bush, Matt Forte, and Le'Veon Bell on my team and wondering if that's an adequate group of RB's that I can just outright drop T-Rich this week (who's also on a bye) to pick up another WR since I don't have enough WR's to fill my 3 slots for my squad. Any thoughts? Thanks.
  25. aggiewildlife

Is anybody just outright dropping Trent Richardson?

Well trading would be a possibility as a long-term resolution perhaps, if somebody even wanted him, but I'm in bye-week hell and need somebody for this weekend, and no trade at this point would help me by this weekend. So I either need to make no additional moves and play James Jones and hope he plays, or I have to drop somebody, either Jones or T-Rich, for somebody like Reuben Randle. I have no other players I can drop.
