Is anybody just outright dropping Trent Richardson?
aggiewildlife replied to aggiewildlife's topic in FFToday Board
I agree, I already dropped my backup TE (Heath Hiller) to add Harry Douglas, but I still need another WR this week. Could pick up Rueben Randle or Kenbrell Thompkins or Jeremy Kerley or Kendall Wright or Brandon Lafell. I also could conceivably drop James Jones, if his injury is uncertain, and pick up Randle perhaps, while holding on to T-Rich. Zac Stacy, Mike James, Roy Helu, and Chris Ivory are available too (this is a 10-team league), so I could conceivably drop T-Rich for one of them going forward and drop Jones for a different WR. I'm reluctant to drop Jones though. -
I have Heath Miller as my backup TE and am on the fence about dropping him for Fleener, but still undecided.
-
I fortunately have Romo who's going to have to pass all day to keep up with Denver, so I bumped Stafford for Romo.

Anyone starting Amendola and Edelman together?
aggiewildlife replied to dreen626's topic in FFToday Board
Crap. I've got Amendola, who will get limited snaps, Cecil Shorts, who is injured, TY Hilton, going against Seattle, Andre Johnson, questionable and going against San Fran, and James Jones, who's 4th in the pecking order in GB. Must play 3 of these guys. -
Dunno. If active, is he going to hurt or help Cecil Shorts' productivity? not sure about Shorts regardless due to injury status.
-
Crap, are any Stafford owners considering other options in light of this news? I have Romo and was planning on playing Stafford, but may go Romo now.
-
Anyone got an update on TY's status?
aggiewildlife replied to RamslovaMartzhata's topic in FFToday Board
I have him, but even if he's playing, it is against San Fran, so I'm going with other options. Starting Andre Johnson, Eddie Royal, and James Jones, and sitting Hilton, Mike Williams, and Cecil Shorts. I was juggling between Royal, Jones, and Hilton, and decided to sit Hilton primarily due to playing San Fran. With that said, I pretty much choose poorly every week, so do the opposite of what I say. -
Anyone starting T Rich vs the Niners?
aggiewildlife replied to Kingstowne Dealers's topic in FFToday Board
You have 7 RB's on your team? What are you in a running back-only league? Anyway, like some others here, I'm trying to decide between T-Rich and R Matthews as my 2nd RB (other is Forte, and I'm benching Reggie Bush) this week. Was going to go with Matthews but now I'm leaning towards giving Richardson a go. They just said on ESPN he's more motivated for this game than any before, to prove a point. Said he likely won't be out there on 3rd downs. -
I targeted Givens this year and was expecting big things. I know it's only been one week, but I try to look at targets rather than actual production to see what to expect in the future. I thought he was going to be their clear #1 guy, but he only got 3 targets last week! He was only the SIXTH most targeted receiver on the team (Jared Cook 7 targets, Tavon Austin 7, Austin Pettis 6, Daryl Richardson 6, Lance Kendricks 4). That is not good. Do any St. Louis homers or anybody who watched the game have a good explanation for this? Was he hurt? Should I expect more of the same? Somebody in my league dropped Cecil Shorts and I was going to drop Kendrell Thompkins for him (he's my lowest drafted receiver), but since he was targeted 14 times last week, I'm now thinking of dropping Givens instead, but was hoping for some insight from people here in the know if there's any explanation for why Givens was barely an afterthought last week. Thanks.
-
Oh, Patrick Peterson. For some reason, I was thinking they played Cleveland last week.
-
I know it's only one week. Again, I'm not looking at his production, but rather that the plays targeted 2 other WR's, 2 other TE's and a RB more often than they targeted him. And who's Peterson?
-
I have a tough call this week, not that I'm complaining. Would any of you start B Brown over either T Richardson or D Martin? Cannot decide who to start...

Any Green Bay homers, Jennings owners, or other people in the know have any idea what to expect from Greg Jennings for the rest of the season? He's available on waivers and I'm wondering what to expect, I haven't been following his progress. My understanding is he may be back in a couple of weeks. Can we expect he'll return to normal form right away once back or is this one to be treated cautiously? Thanks.
-
Wait a second, Javon Walker's ALSO available in my league. Should I grab him?
-
You're suggesting that they're not going to rush Jennings back into action since they've got a good thing going with their current crop of receivers, or do you think he's now only their 4th best option upon returning?
-
You should all feel lucky you don't have my team, with my top draft picks being Megatron, Matt Stafford, MJD, and Jermichael Finley.
-
Would any of you MJD owners just flat out drop him? I could try dropping him for Jennings, but right now of course, we have no idea how long he'll be out. My team has been struggling (I'm a not-so-proud Matt Stafford, Calvin Johnson, MJD, Jermichael Finley owner) and I can't afford to just have somebody sitting on my bench for weeks on end recovering from an injury. I need help now. I'm in a league too where few owners ever want to trade under normal circumstances, so I can almost promise you that any attempts to trade him to anybody would fall on deaf ears. So either I just sit around and hope for the best or try to drop him for Jennings. I don't really have many other options right now for dropping other players. Man, this sucks.

I'm trying to decide between Trent Richardson and Doug Martin as my 2nd RB today. The projections are pretty good for Martin, although I don't quite understand why. Against New Orleans, seems they may be forced to throw more than run, plus he may be losing goalline work. Still, his projections are good. I typically like Richardson better, but he's somewhat banged up and I'm concerned about how much action he'll get. But he has a favorable matchup, so if he's playing and getting normal numbers of touches, I would prefer him. Just not sure. Anybody have any insight about what to expect from him today?
-
My other RB for today was MJD. So the two of them ended up with a combined 14 yards of rushing today. Awesome.
-
So goes my fantasy team. Freaking Christ. So far, Doug Martin has 83 yards and a TD, T-Rich has 8 yards on 8 carries with 0 TD's.
-
Sweet. Will revisit after the game so you can tell me which one would have been better to start after the fact. Again, thanks!
-
Thanks guys! Awesome feedback.

Stafford to Megatron this year is like water torture
aggiewildlife replied to Busted by the Feds's topic in FFToday Board
Megatron also has a grand total of ONE touchdown on the season. ONE. Us complainers sort of wanted more of those. -

Same here, man, last week I played Alex Smith not expecting much, but he played the way I expected Stafford to play each week. I almost started him again this week but most projections I saw had Stafford ranked considerably higher and I stupidly listened to them. I'm going with my gut instincts from here on, this guy is horrible. And having C Johnson as my first pick is useless when his QB blows. -

I'm so sick of this sheet. I thought my fantasy team was going to be awesome this year, with Calvin Johnson, Matt Stafford, Jermichael Finley, MJD, and Trent Richardson, and the complete opposite is true. I'm fed up!
