  1. I put a $200 bet at 66 to 1 Green Bay win the Super Bowl. Long shot but worth a gamble. Their schedule over the next 4 games is as easy as you can get...

    Baltimore @ GB. Win

    @ Pitt. Loss

    Tampa @ GB. Win

    @cleveland. Win

    Rodgers back

    @carolina. Loss

    Minnesota @ Green Bay. Win. (Rodgers revenge game)

    @detriot Win

    10-6

    Well, they got shut out 23-0 by Baltimore, but maybe they'll have better luck in the next couple weeks LOL.

  2. I never understand why these guys get hyped so much. Most rankings I saw this week had C Davis ranked higher than R Matthews. WHY? Yes, he has potential, but literally zero track record of production so far. Why all of a sudden were we to believe he'd just instantly be valued higher than Matthews.

    Glad I have Matthews and not C Davis.

  3. I'm in great position right now (8-2 in my league) and thus might add Johnson and possibly Aaron Rodgers in preparation for a playoff run. It may cost me a win here or there in the meantime, but assuming I'm close to a lock to make the playoffs, I'm thinking of strategizing for success during the playoffs rather than just trying to win from week to week in the regular season. I'm definitely interested in Johnson, but not as certain about Rodgers's status.

  4. Me too! I mentioned on a thread before last weeks game that folks would be better off adding Robert Woods than they would Corey Davis or DeDe Westbrook, who were being treated like Hall of Famers. Nobody listened.

    But yes, Woods has saved me the last 2 weeks too.

  5. Gets his cast off Monday....possibly play in a couple weeks.....is he worth an add or passing?

    I'm just going to monitor the situation closely and see what they say, if anything, next week after the cast comes off. He's sitting on waivers and I'd love to add him but already have Greg Olsen in my IR slot, so don't want to add Johnson to my bench until I hear something more promising.

  6. Coleman over Dede, fine, but not at the cost of dropping Rod Smith.

    I'm holding Alf and Rod, and wouldn't drop either for a gamble at a WR3.

    A young monster power back behind that OL for 6 weeks is a much more valuable lotto ticket than any WR3 play.

    Not only is Smith behind that OL for 6 weeks, but he's also behind Alf Morris and D McFadden on the depth chart, so you have that to look forward to ;)

  7.

    I'm certainly waiting to hear more this week. With Hogan and AB out this week, I'm looking at a WR trio of Hopkins, Marvin Jones and then either Doctson or Dede. Is Doctson going to get looks? Did Washington looking for WRs yesterday mean they don't like Doctson anymore? Is Marquis Lee going to play? Lot of questions. And, apparently, all it would take would be 4 catches to out-catch Doctson. If Dede stands a reasonable chance of posting a 1/1/1 line, then he's in the same ballpark as my other WR3 options :)

    Well I can see him as a desperation add, but anybody acting like he's going to instantly be a must-add WR1 is delusional. He's on my waiver wire right now and I just dropped Doctson for Robert Woods, who's very boring, but I'd rather have him than Doctson, Westbrook, or Davis. At least he'll get guaranteed targets and receptions. The other 3 could easily all get 3 or fewer targets.

  8. I'm in a 10-team league too and also am trying to choose between either JuJu or Richardson at WR and Morris and Collins at RB. As for right now, I'm going with Collins at RB and am leaning towards Richardson, but mostly just because I could use him as a FLEX this weekend whereas JuJu is on a bye. I'm avoiding the Miami RB's, and wouldn't mind having M Mack either.
