what i'm saying is if his o-line isn't any better, why should anyone believe he's going to do better than last year? only 20 td? almost 30 picks? 2 dozen sacks? those aren't exactly numbers that foster confidence in his ability to produce decent fantasy numbers. also, walker is gone, so there's another weapon that isn't there anymore. i would think that unless he has more time to throw, he's in for a long season. jmho, fwiw.

personally, i don't care if someone sees who i'm drafting. what if they do? if they make inappropriate comments about draft picks, solo can petition the mods to warn them to stay off the mock draft board. it already has minimal traffic. who cares if someone sees who were drafting? jmho, fwiw.

do we do the draft on a thread like this? how exactly is it done? also, is there any reason we can't commence with the draft now? fyi, my wife's grandmother is not doing well. we may have to go to a funeral within a week or so. then again, maybe not. i'll try to fit in the best i can, but would appreciate consideration for the situation also if i have to be gone all day and can't meet the 12 hour time limit. i'm sure that everyone here will be pretty quick about drafting and i don't want to slow things up, but i don't know what's going to happen or when either. thanks! i can see portis going third myself. not saying it will happen alot, but i could see it. anyone want to trade for my 2nd pick?

ok. so how do we do this offline draft? when, where, how, etc.?

every league i've been in has had negatives for sacks, fumbles, & picks. what about interceptions? it's not fair to penalize for fumbles and not interceptions. also, kick & return yardage is yardage as rushing & receiving. why not add those points to d/st's like any other gain? also, i'm not sure on yahoo you can select a "50 yard option" for returns. just a thought.

just noticed that there are no negatives for getting sacked, fumbles, or interceptions. are we going to have these in our league? also, we we include punt/kick return yardage on special teams?

i'm in. i'm thinking that it may take longer to do the draft than 4 hours apiece, but i don't know that for sure. they're really no hurry to get through it, i would think, but everyone can speak for themselves. i think that yahoo has a random draft selector, but whichever one we use, it would be great to get that set so we can develop our draft strategies. remember...all your base belongs to me.

bell was hurt every year at ok. state. bell has been hurt every year at denver. there's no reason to think the same thing will not happen again this year. bell couldn't carry the load all season due to injuries when he was at oSu. dayne did when he was in college. no, he hasn't done much in the nfl, but neither has bell. at least dayne has shown SOME kind of propensity to weather a season of pounding the ball. bell will get hurt and dayne will flourish in the same kind of running attack he flourished in at wisconsin. that's my best guess, fwiw.

i vote for a free-for-all free agency waiver wire myself. nights or on the weekends would be best for the draft. we really will have to make it short between picks to do so. 12 guys having like 18 picks each will be quite lengthy. jmho.
