  1. Definitely would add ADP and Gore and remove Matthews. I agree with Richardson IF he's healthy.

Marshall belongs in there for WRs. Colston may also soon be part of that list too now that he's healthy.

I like Luck a lot (own him actually) but I'm not sure I'd put him at must start yet. Team is still not very good.

TEs are tough - there are a bunch of guys who are "must start" just because there are so few that are viable. Like V Davis hasn't been a stud but who outside of the top 12 are you going to sit or drop him for?

  2. EDIT: I forgot to mention we start 2 RBs, 2 WRs, and 1 FLEX.

One for, one against. Gah. But thanks for your thoughts guys. I'm honestly more worried about Morris vs. Forte than Fitz vs. Colston. It's going to be tough benching Harvin or Marshall all year, so I expect Fitz to only be competing for the flex spot and bye week fill-ins.

  3. Forte's the better talent, but he's going to get goal-line poached and CHI has a brutal second half schedule against the run. Morris is performing like a top 5 back right now but he's totally unproven and plays for the devil. I'd take Colston slightly over Fitz right now for his schedule and team situation but they're basically equal. Start 2 WR/RBs and 1 Flex. What do you guys think?

    Me:

    QB: Vick, Luck

RB: Foster, Charles, Forte, McGahee, F Jackson

WR: Harvin, Marshall, Colston, D Moore

    TE: Bennett

    Him:

    QB: Newton, Schaub

    RB: Matthews, Morris, Ridley, Ballard

WR: Cruz, Fitzgerald, Austin, Floyd, Hawkins

    TE: H Miller

  4. Bowe + LeShoure for McGahee seems like giving up a lot, but Austin + LeShoure I think I'd do. But I'd take Ridley over McGahee. So try Austin + LeShoure for Ridley I guess, if you think the owner needs a WR bad enough. LeShoure has a very hard upcoming schedule, so don't bet on his value getting much higher in the short term. You could try packaging Bowe and LeShoure for a buy low candidate somewhere, like McFadden, Murray, or even MJD. Someone just might bite. I'd also put Andre Johnson on the block w/Leshoure for any of those guys.

    Here's mine.

  5. God no. Charles is a top 5 RB until he proves otherwise. Depending on you scoring, Flacco is either just in the top 10 or just out, and I'd put money on him slipping/being passed by others by the end of the season. Stud RBs are gold this year -- use your leverage to get something better.

  6. So 2 Tates, 1 other guy or make a trade. Thanks for your thoughts guys. Trading is very tough in this league but even if I could, I don't think Luck will last past this waiver period, so not enough time to pull a 2 for 1. Maybe I'll check in with the Newton owner anyway. Dropping Vick or Romo would be hard because I know they'll contribute to someone else's team at some point, and I like Vick better now (he's been one or two fumbles or throws from a couple good games) and Romo better later (actually hasn't played that bad but really hurt by WRs -- so could turn it around). Plus both Vick and Romo have better playoff schedules than Luck.

  7. I've been blessed with a great start to this year except for QB, with Vick and Romo combining to create Turnover-tron. Luck is sitting on the waiver wire and I'd REALLY like to add him as a third option. Because of bye weeks and the fact that I really like most of the players on my roster, I don't have any extra space, so it's between one of those QBs or Tate, if I want Luck. Am I tempting to fate too much by dropping Tate? Is he worth it, considering Romo or Vick might turn it around? Roster below; 10 team re-draft league; start 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 flex, 1 QB; will answer yours.

    QB: Vick, Romo

WR: Marshall, Harvin, Colston, D Moore (I would drop him, but I need him next week since Colston and Marshall have byes)

RB: Foster, Charles, Forte, McGahee, F Jackson, Tate

    1 TE, D, K

  8. I'm in a 10 team keeper league. Is DeMarco Murray for Julio a fair trade? I was just offered Julio for the Cowboy running back. I also have Matt Ryan and that would give me the hook up. My other backs include Forte/Bush, Charles, Spiller, BGE, Leshoure. My WR are Fitz, Nicks, Welker, and Decker. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 WR/RB Flex, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def. Any opinions? I would assume Julio would fetch more than Morris and Amendola but then again I am not accustomed to the PPR scoring format.

No one is going to give you advice because you play in a league of morons (team is ridiculous). That said, you have 4 potential WR1s -- you don't need Julio.

  9. So I'm in a 10-teamer and have this roster, which I'm pretty happy with:

    QB: Michael Vick

    WR1: Brandon Marshall

    WR2: Percy Harvin

    RB1: Arian Foster

    RB2: Matt Forte

    TE: Fred Davis

    FLEX: Jamaal Charles

    ---

    Bench:

    Willis McGahee

    Tony Romo

    Ben Tate

    Denarius Moore

    Kevin Smith

    Titus Young

But after watching the Redskins first few preseason games, I'm suddenly really nervous that Fred Davis is not getting attention. I know -- it's preseason. But still, I can't shake this feeling that the guy's not going to see much action with RG3 under center. And I've got a few good options available on our waiver that I'm not sure will be there for long, notably Jared Cook and Greg Olsen.

What do you think: Are Young, Moore, or Smith worth dropping to pick up Cook or Olsen? Or am I crazy...

  10. Not all about the early rounds; I'm 3-1 despite missing on 2 of my first 4 (Wayne and Gates in the 3rd and 4th) because of some hits on mid to late rounds picks:

    A. Rodgers

    H. Nicks

    R. Wayne (whoops)

    A. Gates (whoops)

    C. Benson (not bad)

    J. Addai (whoops)

    K. Britt (awesome, until hurt)

    F. Jackson (awesome)

    C.J. Spiller (useless)

    D. Sproles (great)

    R. Helu (meh)

    R. Fitzpatrick (great)

    R. Meachem (good)

  11. Team 1: I'd definitely drop J Jones for S Johnson. Jones is a freak sure, but he's still a rook and second in the pecking order to White. Johnson was top 10 last year and if anything will get more targets this year, no reason to over-think this.

Team 2: Seems like a solid choice, only other I'd consider is Britt for his upside (they may be throwing a lot too).

    Team 3: I'd go w/Tolbert as my 1st choice, Ingram 2nd.

Thanks for your help on mine.
