In order to assume that deporting millions of people wouldnt cause home prices to go down we must first assume that real estate markets are fully stratified and that these stratifications never change. We must also assume that in big cities where people are willing to pay large sums of money in rent that this always correlates to a nice place and that nobody would ever consider selling these off or fixing them up and therefore high demand of the run down places have no capability of creating any upward pressure. Then we must also assume that there is zero NGO money or government money available for housing that could possibly create any upward pressure.
