But both things cant be true. They cant be a positive impact on housing wealth, but not cause any upward pressure. Pointing out that costs have gone up more in many areas where the immigrant population isnt as high, is a disingenuous talking point that assumes all markets are silos and there is zero spillover.

In order to assume that deporting millions of people wouldnt cause home prices to go down we must first assume that real estate markets are fully stratified and that these stratifications never change. We must also assume that in big cities where people are willing to pay large sums of money in rent that this always correlates to a nice place and that nobody would ever consider selling these off or fixing them up and therefore high demand of the run down places have no capability of creating any upward pressure. Then we must also assume that there is zero NGO money or government money available for housing that could possibly create any upward pressure.

In March of 2023 the CBO released a report that said 15.5 million people would lose medicaid coverage if the pandemic era continuous coverage provisions were unwound. Almost seems like this number could be a scare tactic. Report in 2023 states most of those people would get ACA subsidized plans.

I asked for specific language in the bill stating it will take away healthcare coverage. Not paid analysis stating it will cause people to not be on medicaid even though they would have different coverage. But lets look at what you posted... Those 632k people that signed up super fast...are you assuming none of them had coverage before moving to medicaid? (Hint:most had coverage. many even already had medicaid coverage) Why do you think the analysis assumes that those people will just become uninsured instead of going back to the way they were insured? Why do you think the analysis assumes it will cost tens of millions of dollars to verify that people are working or volunteering when states like North Carolina already hired hundreds of new people to push medicaid expansion? How did they assume that millions of people will just quit medicaid coverage instead of fulfilling the new requirements or not submit paperwork even if they are already working? Why dont they provide a breakdown of that?
