So when these illegals live places, that means that americans cant live there. Omfg, what???? What did I just say? Yep. That housing gets occupied. So now if you had ten places available to americans at a certain price range, you now have less. This will cause the prices of that strat of housing to go up. But here is the crazy wacko kicker to this. Lets say that level was 1000 bucks a month rent previously. Lets say that price now goes up to 1200. In your model that you love to repeat like you are playing some trump card, thats it. That is the only level affected. Nothing else happens. In your pretend world the units that were previously 1200, just stay at 1200 and experience zero upward pressure. So now the units that were 1000 become 1200 and we just have more units priced at 1200 even though there is a clear difference in the units that was previously explained by a 200 dollar gap. This is la la land stuff.

Like landscapers, roofers, and restaurant workers are some special groups. Illegals in those groups are nothing but bodies. No special skills. No worth.
