I stated on here a long time ago the inevitable compromise will be the subsidies get renewed, nothing from the OBB gets reversed and we move on. These subsidies are one of the worst policy decisions ever, but as always, once we give out money for something, we dont like to stop, no matter how damaging it is to the long term market.

Once they get the guy in the red vehicle, the vehicle blocking traffic goes to leave the scene by making a perfectly legal turn for an official vehicle that is now pulling away after blocking traffic. The crazy lady then drove around the vehicle in front of her, came from the wrong side of the road and is clearly driving way too fast for the situation. At best she jammed on it to get ahead of the government vehicle that has the right of way and she hit the government vehicle. At worst she is one of these idiots that tails ICE around yelling thats ice, thats ice!! to warn people and she hit them.

This video shows the whole "she was just going straight in the lane" narrative is garbage. She drove around the car in front of her and went on the wrong side of the road then jammed on it to end up where she was when the cars collided.

So democrats are responsible for the shutdown and then the GOP would be responsible for the subsidies ending and ron is wrong. I can live with that.

Artest is saying republicans can open the government because they could end the filibuster. Because they are choosing not to end the filibuster, he claims they therefore are at fault for not ending the shutdown. Democrats didnt end the filibuster and used reconciliation to pass the subsidies. Because they didnt end the filibuster they chose to have the subsidies sunset. Therefore it is because of democrats that the subsidies are ending. If Artest is correct about the shutdown then the democrats are absolutely responsible for the subsidies ending. So either democrats are to blame for the shutdown or they are to blame for the subsidies ending. You can pick which way you want it, but it requires stupid pretzel logic to convince yourself that the GOP is responsible for both.
