Biden was wrong for trying to run it back, especially after he told Americans he would be a transitional president. I also doubt Kamala would have been the nominee had a true primary been undertaken. The key difference being Dems don’t have a cult figure that leads them. Frankly it would have been a tough road for any Dem, because no candidate would have received the fervent, unquestioned support like Republicans currently have. We’ll see what happens in 2028 when Republicans have no choice but to choose another candidate.

Not a doctor, etc. If someone has had a very difficult time losing weight no matter what they've tried, are genuinely obese or borderline, and have really given forth an honest effort, these weight loss injections are probably good for that individual. From a societal standpoint, it's probably a net positive as these people should (theoretically) lose weight, and thus avoid costly health care procedures in their future. For people who are borderline overweight, have half-heartedly put forth an effort, but then jump on these injections like it's a cosmetic thing? IDK man. Maybe try harder first (IMO).

Democrats are on the wrong side of popular sentiment on several cultural issues. They’re dumb for not pushing back on their relevance. Given the federal budget, there’s basically five categories: Defense, Social Security, Medicare, Interest on debt, and Other discretionary. Crap like transgender pedo grooming woke DEI issues are distractions from the point of the federal government. Those are just issues meant to divide people. The billionaires and multi millionaires need those 50% of voters, those issues are part of how they get them. Propaganda. So, Democrats are stupid, and I don’t agree with them on a host of issues. But what I see, by their actions and words, is that they are less likely to go after social security and medicare. That’s the bottom line. If people overly care about the culture war nonsense, they’re missing the point. Firing federal employees is another quick example. I would have preferred not going after them at all, let alone in the idiotic, chaotic way that Trump is allowing Musk to do (which is crazy that people stand for this). Billionaires and multi millionaires going after regular wage earners, even if they work for the government, is what you voted for? Or what you think is smart? Wake up people. They are coming for things they think that they pay for. Like your social security and medicare. Democrats didn’t do that.

Does that mean the answer is to vote for multi-millionaire and billionaires best interests, even though that means cuts to your earned benefits (social security and medicare)? Like always, elections come down to which choice sucks less than the other. What’s amazing to me is how anyone looks at the Trump and Project 2025 blueprint and says “yes, Trump is the best!” Frankly it makes you look gullible and unable to think critically.
