I am going with Dallas at home vs. Cleveland. as a Jets fan, I would also recommend STL...

Have we found our "whoever is playing ...." D/ST pickup?
sozopol replied to chroniciguana's topic in FFToday Board
I am looking at Baltimore (Oak) New England (Buf) Philadelphia (Dal) Dallas (@Phi) who do we like here. Dallas maybe? Baltimore looks good with Oak travelling east. Phila could also be good vs. Romo. -
I have Decker, opponent has McGahee. right now after that TD we are dead even at 127.
-
as a Decker owner who was trailing by 13 pts...

Trying to evaluate trade options. In a vacuum, are these guys roughly equal in terms of rest-of-way value? This website puts them on the same tier. Also, assume the Bradshaw owner does NOT also have Andre Brown. Is one much more consistent than the other? Is one more feast-or-famine?

Jets homer here, but near term I'd say Powell. Everyone can see he is running better than Greene so wouldn't be surprised if he moves over 50% of carries. He has a few catches as well. Jets did sign RB Grimes from the Texans' practice squad yesterday, don't know much about him. Royster isn't even fully practicing yet is he?

Garcon's "foot" injury is giving me flashbacks....
sozopol replied to BufordT's topic in FFToday Board
According to Rotoworld Pierre Garcon (foot) was limited in Wednesday's practice. If it is same tomorrow I am not going to fvck around. I will start my new WW pickup Avery over him. -
I thought I might go with the Giants one more week. Anyone else?
-
Garcon @ NO T Smith vs Cin Decker vs Pit Colston vs. Wash Any of these more of a risk than the others? P.s. I am starting Matt Ryan, over RG3.
-
Well it is decision time, and I've decided to go with A. Foster - he will start, so gotta play him M. Colston - heard he will start, and therefore he will play hard and get me points-- week 1, superdome, etc. T. Smith - easiest choice Decker - came down to Decker vs. Garcon, went with Decker Bench - Garcon - yes he may get good points but too risky, who knows how RG3 will respond to Day 1 in superdome. Thanks all
-
Would you start him over Colston(Q) or Decker? I am tempted, but not sure I will, Superdome Week 1, after the scandal, could be really intimidating for RG3 and therefore his WRs.
-
Might go K Smith over Jackson given the opponents. Williams and Jennings for the other two. Thanks for mine.
-
Thanks all for the input. Another option I have is to start all four and bench Arian Foster, who is questionable/game time decision! (We play 1 RB and 2 flex-- I started Ahmad Bradshaw already)
-
T Smith, really? Why, can you elaborate? He was the one I was most sure I would start...
-
I'd probably go K Smith too, and thanks for your input on mine.
-
Yeah, although skins could be throwing to catch up. Also, decker could be a bit risky with manning's first game back with new team.

I have the 6th pick in my draft Thursday. 6 pts per passing TD, so QBs are more valuable. I think it is pretty likely that Foster/Lesean/Rice/Rodgers will go first 4, then probably Brady. So I will be looking at Brees vs. Stafford. We are also going dynasty starting this year, so I suppose that favors Stafford. But I am really torn. I could also take Megatron, but pretty sure I don't want to risk ending up with Rivers or Roethlisberger, say. I am seriously leaning Stafford. Anyone else in this spot?
-
My league commish decided to change, as the league itself is changing, instead of 2 RB lineup slots, go 1 RB and an extra flex spot. This sounds good to me-- I am sick of scrabbling for chump RBs to fill that RB2 requirement. Seems like this rule change would provide for more strategic decision making opportunities. But it's new so who knows, maybe it will ruin the balance. Anyway has anyone here gone with this lineup reqs? Any opinions? TIA

Over six years ago...

As a Jets fan I'd like to see Sanchez with a new OC and better OL before I give up on him. All I want for Christmas/Hanukah is a new OC!! Six years and three HCs and the offense has never been better than average. Why do they keep him?
-
I'm leaning Sproles-- but Smith's upside is titillating Sproles @ Min Smith @ Oak Sproles will almost definitely get me 8 to 12 pts. (non-PPR) Right? Smith--who knows. Probably similar, but can't you just see him blowing up for 100 yds and 2 tds? OTOH he could twist his ankle on the second play of the game and be out. It will probably be a tight game vs. my opponent. Thoughts? will help in return
-
for RBs, play Spiller at home in chilly Buffalo vsa. Dolphins. Then maybe Grant by a hair-- I really don't see BJGE doing much at Denver. For the WRs-- man those are all good options, I'll take which ever one you bench! Don't bench Cruz or A.J. Green-- choose between the other two. thanks for your response to mine

I agree with the rest that Holmes is safer, but I will say that if you have a hunch, that usually means your brain is processing data and telling you something. Or it just might be irrational, like you plucked him off the WW and he helped you win that week, so you have good associations with him. Try to figure out where your hunch is coming from. Anyway-- help with mine could you? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=397947

I'm starting him. He will play and should be good for double digit points. Help? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=397947
