Thank the lord!! I started Stacy over Moreno and I was really worried about doing that. So far Stacy has a 4 point lead over Moreno. Not much, but it is more points. So far...I wish he didn't fumble though.

I'd take Akers for sure. He is the safest play, weather-wise. As far as Def, you are good either way. STL is tough at home, and DET is fighting for their playoff lives.

Thanks! I was leaning towards Akers in the dome, but R.Gould is someone who I want to start due to the team I am playing having Forte.

I could start Akers and the Lions def and then start Foles over Rivers just so I could have a player in that game.

Moreno has been good for me just about all season. Why sit him now. Right? Or?

 

Stacy was a solid waiver wire pick up who filled in nicely in the weeks where I did start him. His match up isn't all that great vs the Bucs and Moreno is facing a team who just gave up 149 yards on the ground last week to the Jags.

 

Who would you start?

Moreno isn't crap, but he is in a time share with Ball, 60/40. In addition, who knows what Peyton is thinking regarding the all time TD record. Last week, they didn't run much when near the red zone. He could be flinging it all day long for TD instead of letting Moreno/Ball running it in.

That is a good point. It would be very hard to sit Moreno for Stacy. Moreno, Charles, J.Gordon and K.Allen have carried my team.

With the weather supposed to be bad in a lot of different games tomorrow I am thinking of starting my indoor kicker D.Akers vs the Giants tomorrow. I normally wouldn't care so much, but with it being for the Trophy, I am turning towards Akers over Bailey and Gould.

[Championship game Defense?]

Rams all the way for me. I like their match up a lot. It is tempting to start the Lions defense vs a bad Giants team, but even when the Rams give up points their defense is always in the positive and not the negative. The Lions have had 2 negative weeks. They had two 1 point weeks and one 2 point week. The Rams had 3 Two point weeks in a row way back in weeks 2, 3, and 4. They have been fine ever since. Rams it is!!

Tampa is @ the Rams and I think I have decided to start the Rams def and hope that Robert Quinn can force more fumbles and get more sacks.

How do you think the Tampa offense will do vs the Rams defense? It's a gut feeling that I have had for a few days now even though I recently picked up the Lions. Rams are the 1 pm game and the Lions are the 4 pm game. I usually like the later games, but I like the Rams defense this week. Ugggg!!!

[Championship game Defense?]

I picked up the Lions and I also picked up the Rams defense. I think both of these defenses will be solid to great starts this week.

Right now I have the Rams in, but the Lions are who I feel strongly about starting. The Lions really need this game and the Giants o-line is not in sync right now.They lose Cruze at wr and even if the Giants score a few points, Eli will be sacked enough and will throw a pick or 2 with a possible fumble return thrown in. 31-13 Detroit. Double digit fantasy points for the Lions defense.
