  1. i've got A. Morris & P. Garcon starting.

    should i start K. forbath(wash) kicker also? playing against a bad philly d(at 1:00).

or, start Succop(k.c.) playing the sunday night game) against denver?

denvers d is good against the run but bad against the pass. i also went back and looked at the rest of the season and kickers have been scoring pretty good points against denver.

i'm kinda torn because on one hand philly's d is bad and i could see lot's of up and down the field action. but i don't want to root for fg's when i have Morris & Garcon starting.

on the other hand i could see the denver/k.c. game getting out of hand in denvers favor and then k.c. won't kick fg's because they need td's.

    help...

  2. I've got the same dilemma. I keep going back in forth.

On one hand you have Romo in a dome on sunday night...but, it's against a better pass defense.

On the other you have Foles on grass at 1:00 p.m.....but against a below average pass D.

Also, the G.B. offense looked dreadful last week with Wallace throwing for 67 yrds. So, that leads me to believe the Philly offense will have the ball alot.

Then you have the Sunday night game where you kinda expect it to be a shootout and the Cowboys could be down and have to start throwing the ball alot.

I might just flip a coin...

  3. my opponent got off to a great start on thursday night so i'm feeling slightly desperate.

i've been starting Romo all year with good results (8-1). but, this week he's on the road @ new orleans which is the 5th ranked D.

Foles is on the road @ green bay which is the 20th ranked D, and watching them last week against the bears they looked even worse than that.

    whom should i start?

  4. Man, i'm having a tough time with this one.

Nicks is on the road tonight at chicago. they'll probably be losing and have to throw alot. also their rb situation is a mess.

Shorts is on the road in denver. he's got a groin thing going on. But, he gets massive targets and Henne is playing and i like him throwing the ball more than Gabbert. also, they'll be behind bigtime and have to throw the ball alot.

And, denver's d got scored last week.

    who would you start?

  5. Yeah, i ended up not vetoing it.

    I still think it's a lame trade...

Not only is the guy losing his best WR, but he now has 4 qb's. We only start 1.

And, is he now forced to start Newton every week? It'd look kinda silly trading B. Marshall for some guy you leave on the bench...

I'd rather have Wilson & Marshall than Newton.

I'd rather have Flacco & Marshall than Newton.

I'd rather have Weeden(his other qb) & Marshall than Newton.

i might just be higher on Marshall & lower on Newton than others...

  6. How is Flacco better than Newton?

Well, actually after looking at their stats it appears that Newton is scoring more points than Flacco & Wilson. But, Newton played the Giants and padded his stats.

Flacco & Wilson both had to play the Texans which basically blanked both qbs......so, it's really hard to compare stats.

Anyway, still at the heart of it... it doesn't make sense to me to trade away your best wr for a qb that's marginal at best, especially when you already have 2 marginal qb's.

Also. the person trading away Brandon Marshall didn't shop him around at all. I'm fairly certain he could have got a better offer than Cam Newton.

I don't know....maybe it';s just the fact that i'm not high on Cam Newton.
