    I'd love to join Bro, but i'm looking for an online draft. Thanks though.

    no prob. I read "in Jersey" and I thought you meant a live draft. Here's the thing though. Last year we had trouble filling the league since a bunch of people dropped out at the last minute. We had to do 6 drafters in person at my house and 6 online. This year, we have 10 in person and 1 online since he's in Chicago. You could still do your drafting online if you wish. The site we use lets us do that. Let me know if still interested. Draft order will be randomized this weekend.

    This will be our second year in existance. The league is called the Garden State Fantasy Football League. This league will have a LIVE in person draft at my house in Fords, NJ on August 16th @ 11:00 a.m. As of now, we have two openings. Fees are going to be $50 with all fees being paid out.     If we were in the day of Pitfall and Missile Command I can understand you totally. Now technology has advanced to where games can be a viable replacement for the "real world". I do Second Life all the time and you experience things that were never even in your wildest dreams. Don't hit me with that tired "gaming is a waste" stereotype.

    Scoring rules:

     

    Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1 Flex, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. PPR, passing td's are 4, everything else 6.

     

    Here's my team:

     

    QB: Hasslebeck, E.Manning

    RB: Maroney, MJD, T.Bell, Adrian Peterson(Bears), Rhodes, Priest, M.Robinson

    WR: Boldin, Roy Williams, Coles, Santonio Holmes, Moulds, Stokely, C. Henry

    TE: Ben Watson

    K: Wilkins

    DEF: I was running an offline & online draft and in the commotion, forgot to draft a D. (I know...DUH!)

     

    His Team:

    QB: Manning, Cutler

    RB: SJax, T.Jones, C.Taylor, Droughns, C.Henry

    WR: D.Driver, R. Moss, Stallworth, Porter, Matt Jones

    TE: GOnzalez, Scheffler

    K: Gould, Scobee

    DEF: Carolina, Jacksonville

     

    I offered Maroney, Rhodes, & Moulds for SJax, T.Jones & Jacksonville D. He said that he's not willing to part with both backs. I know that was a crazy offer, but I was just testing the waters with that offer. But he would possibly work with me if Roy & Maroney were involved. I think he likes the Pats. What package can I put together to get this guy to go for it?

    Second round now. PPR redraft, 12 teams. I had the 11th pick and had FWP fall to me since Manning and Palmer were taken 3rd and 5th. So far here's the draft order:

    2.2 is my pick now....DD says to pick MJD. But Rudi, Portis, Edge, etc are still there. Who should I pick? And yes, this IS a money league.

    Thought I would put together a league this year. A few of us from another board are in already, but we still have a few spots left.

     

    Garden State Fantasy Football League

    NAME OF LEAGUE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. It's all I could think of right now :banana:

    Teams: 10

    Draft type: SERPENTINE

    Roster spots: 18

    Divisions: 2 (5 in each division) 6 teams make playoffs.

    Draft Date: 8/18 1:00 p.m. LIVE IN PERSON DRAFT

    Payouts: 50 per team, 12 teams= $500

    (Fees are due by August 1st)

     

    1st: 325

    2nd: 125

    3rd: 50

     

    We will be using WCOFF scoring rules.

     

    Scoring:

    1 pt. per 20 yards passing

    4 pts. per throwing td

    1 pt. per 10 yards rushing/receiving

    1 pt. per reception

    6 pts per TD rushing/receiving

    2 pts per 2pt. conversion rushing/throwing/receiving

     

    Defensive Scoring:

    Shutout: 5 pts

    1-5 pts: 3 pts.

    6-10 pts: 1 pts

    11+ pts: 0 pts

    Fumble recovery: 2 pts.

    Interception: 2 pts

    Sack: 1 pt

    Defensive TD: 6 pts

    As of now, we are shooting for a August 18th draft starting at 1:00 p.m.

    I offered Caddy for Steven Jackson. He countered with Jackson & Stallworth for Caddy & Wayne. I accepted. Now another owner is offering Chambers for Stallworth. On the fence about that one. Don't know if Stallworth's first week is a sign of things to come, or the best he will be all year.

     

    Basically, would you trade Stallworth for Chambers?

    I would normally jump on this because it would give me a RB1 & RB2 of S.Jackson & R.Brown, but I like having bush in the flex spot.
