  1. My team: QB: Bulger, Carr RB: Rudi, Kevin Jones, Thomas Jones, Morency, Calhoun, LenDale White WR: CJ, Kennison, Mushin, Coles TE: Watson, Cooley DEF: Chicago K: Wilkins His team: QB: Culpepper, Harrington RB: Caddy, Jordan, Gore, Benson, Brown, Musa Smith WR: Boldin, Javon Walker, DJackson, Bennett, KCurtis TE: Winslow DEF: Falcons K: Hanson He's offering Lamont Jordan for Thomas Jones & Bears Def. It would leave me with no defense, but the best def I could pick up would be Minnesota. During the fantasy playoffs they have: Det, NYJ, & GB. Does it make sense for me to do this? I also think that it will just give him more of a headache to think of who to play at RB each week. Thoughts! Roster spots and Blind bids have to be by 7:00 p.m.! hurry!

    Need auction style draft advice

When it's your tunr to throw out a name, throw out someone that you know people will go overboard for right about now. They will overspend on them, whcih will leave you in better position. Names I plan on throwing this weekend? Ladell Betts Reggie Bush Mike Bell Maroney Good luck and have fun.
  7. Thought I would bump this up for more up to date advice. Especially since we know more about Palmer's health, westbrook's health, DD lack of health, etc. I'm in an auction league. Our cap is $200 and $75 of it canbe used for franchising players from last year. Their value for franchising is based on 20% of their total points from last year. Here's my team and how much they would cost to franchise. Delhomme,Jake - QB - 47 Brooks,Aaron - QB - 33 Fitzgerald,Larry - WR - 33 Johnson,Chad - WR - 31 Parker,Willie - RB - 28 Westbrook,Brian - RB - 26 Davis,Domanick - RB - 26 Wilford,Ernest - WR - 16 Stevens,Jerramy - TE - 12 Randle El,Antwaan - WR - 8 Wiggins,Jermaine - TE - 6 Rogers,Charles - WR - 3 Williams,Mike - WR - 3 I'm torn btw keeping two RB's or keeping one Rb and one stud WR. Remember you can keep up to a total of $75. -------------------------------------------------------------- Also below are some of the known RB's that people are going to keep. I was leaning towards keeping Fitz and CJ, but then I will be left with slim pickings at RB. These are being kept by other owners: Alexander LT2 LJ SJax Jordan Tiki Ronnie Brown Kevin Jones Rudy Gado Portis McGahee These are not being kept due to not enough room to franchise them: Edge Caddy Dunn TJones JJones The only ones from the bottom group that I would go for are Edge & Caddy. I know for a fact that Edge will probably cost more to win because he is the only big name RB left available to win. Do I keep Westbrook or FWP and let either Fitz or CJ go? Here's our scoring rules. 8. Here it goes. I'm in an auction league. Our cap is $200 and $75 of it can be used for franchising players from last year. So actually, I can take more than 2. Their value for franchising is based on 20% of their total points from last year. Here's my team and how much they would cost to franchise. Delhomme,Jake - QB - 47 Brooks,Aaron - QB - 33 Fitzgerald,Larry - WR - 33 Johnson,Chad - WR - 31 Parker,Willie - RB - 28 Westbrook,Brian - RB - 26 Davis,Domanick - RB - 26 Wilford,Ernest - WR - 16 Stevens,Jerramy - TE - 12 Randle El,Antwaan - WR - 8 Wiggins,Jermaine - TE - 6 Rogers,Charles - WR - 3 Williams,Mike - WR - 3 I was thinking of keeping Chad & Fitz for a total of $64, leaving me $136 to go for a stud Rb & QB. Or do you th ink I should keep one of the RB's? I'm thinking that they RBs might still be available to get and maybe even cheaper than it would cost me to franchise them. Here are our "unique" scoring rules. QB's & RB's get most of the pts, but we do get pts for receptions, but not per reception. We can pick from the following Sets: 1. Standard Set QB RB RB WR WR TE K D/ST 2. Spread Formation QB RB WR WR WR TE K D/ST 3. Empty Backfield QB WR WR WR WR TE K D/ST 4. Empty Backfield/2 Tight Ends QB WR WR WR TE TE K D/ST 5. Spread Formation/2 Tight End QB RB WR WR TE TE K D/ST 6. Two Tight End Set QB RB RB WR TE TE K D/ST Throwing an interception -1 Fumbles lost to other team -2 Pass Completions 10-18 1 19-24 2 25-29 3 30-33 4 34-37 5 38-41 6 42-45 7 (NFL Record: 45 - Drew Bledsoe 1994) 46 10 46 + 1 for every completion over 46 Rushing Attempts 5-15 1 16-22 2 23-29 3 30-34 4 35-38 5 39-42 6 43-45 7 (NFL Record: 45 – Jamie Morris 1988) 46 10 46+ 1 for every attempt over 46 Receptions 4-7 1 8-10 2 11-13 3 14-15 4 16-17 5 18-19 6 20 7 (NFL Record: 20 – Terrell Owens 2000) 21 10 21+ 1 for every reception over 21 Yards passing 1 for every 50 yards 300 + yards passing 4 bonus points 400 + yards passing 2 Additional bonus points 500 + yards passing 2 Additional bonus points 555 yards passing 3 bonus points (NFL Record: 554 yards – Norm Van Brocklin 1951) Yards rushing 1 for every 20 yards 100 + yards rushing 3 bonus points for every 100 yards 296 yards rushing 3 bonus points (NFL Record: 295 yards – Jamal Lewis 2003) Yards receiving 1 for every 25 yards 100 + yards receiving 3 bonus points for every 100 yards 337 yards receiving 3 bonus points (NFL Record: 336 yards – Willie Anderson 1989) 2-point conversions: all types 2 Touchdowns passing by yardage 0-19 yards 6 20-39 yards 8 40-100 yards 10 Touchdowns rushing by yardage 0-9 yards 6 10-29 yards 8 30-100 yards 10 Touchdowns receiving by yardage 0-19 yards 6 20-39 yards 8 40-100 yards 10
