***Official rule suggestions for 2005 thread***
ninerfan replied to GiantsRule's topic in FSA - Keeper
I'd gladly pay a couple of extra bucks to purchase a trophy for the league champion for 2005 and beyond. It would cost less than $2 per owner (and could be taken out of the $50 we currently pay if everyone wanted to keep the league fees the same). You can buy 16" trophy's from Antsports for $19.99 (three lines of engraving and shipping is included). I just think it would add extra incentive and is nice to have a memento (other than a photocopied check. lol!). -
Sorry I'm late. Two is good.

Congratulations buddy. Nice job. Congrats to Battle for making it to the title game. Good job!
-
Yes. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
-
Good games! Good luck to Battle and GR next week!
-
Yep.

1. Selected Player (Starter or Non-Starter). 2. Total Bench Points for the Week. 3. Highest Player Point Total in Starting Line-Up. 4. Highest Player Point Total on Bench 5. Home Team Advantage (or highest seed).

Ok, here's my .02 cents... Flintstones vs. Serbian Assassin I think everyone agrees that it looks like FCM has too much firepower for SA this week. Culpepper puts FCM over the top, but FCM has quality starters at every line-up spot. No slackers here. Thanks for playing SA. Vandals vs. Wahoos This is probably the most even matchup this week. Can Nor Cal's RB's outscore the Wahoos' WR's? While cases can be made for both teams, I have to believe that McNabb gives the Vandals the edge in this contest. Express vs. Shovelheads Is this the game where not having a quality QB bites the Express in the butt? I think it could be. Manning will get his points (possibly at James' expense). Moss is not 100% so I don't think he'll be as big a factor in this game. If any matchup is prime for an upset this week, this is it. Brew Crew vs. Tuna This is the game of the week. Miller has had some bad luck this season (should have traded with me for Blaylock, doh!) but still has some quality starters. I don't expect much from Rudi Johnson this week but his stable of WR's puts him in good position to pull out a win. Tuna's vaunted RB corps has lost some their luster in recent weeks and now look mediocre. He'll need big games from Green (who is still injured), Tomlinson, and Owens to claim victory. Thanks to Favre, he still gets the edge in this matchup. Should be a good game. Good luck to everyone this week!

That's what I'm afraid of too.
-
Thanks Tuna. I hope it's a sign of good things to come next season. Good luck to everyone who's still in the playoff hunt. It's been a pretty good season despite my countless setbacks. I've had fun this year trying to get my team ready for next year. Needless to say, I'll be here banging heads with all of you again next season.
-
If you've clinched the division title there is no way that you'll miss the playoffs. I'm assuming you're just being facitious. Whether you advance or not is another story.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

The following players are available for trade: Steve McNair Tatum Bell Derrick Blaylock Shawn Bryson Larry Johnson Dominic Rhodes Anthony Thomas Brian Westbrook Ricky Williams Antonio Bryant Tyrone Calico Keary Colbert Joesy Galloway Will consider two for one for a good young starting RB. Will also deal picks. Send me your REASONABLE offers.
-
Hey Shovel, look at my line-up and tell me I was trying to lose. I would think you'd be more concerned with team owners who are starting players that are on a bye week. I didn't find out that McNair wouldn't start until after I returned home this morning. As of last night he was supposed to play. Palmer isn't a great option right now, but I didn't know he was the only one I had until it was too late. I've been a straight-up owner for three years and don't appreciate the accusation.
-
Reasonable deals will be considered. Mainly looking for a good #2 starting RB (or a young RB who will start next season) and a 1st round pick in 2005.
-
Will also consider swapping my extra 3rd rounder for your 1st rounder if the deal is good enough.
-
Tiki Barber is still available. I need a decent #2 RB (or a young RB who has a shot to start) and a 1st in 2005.

After the game...

Hey Troy, haven't heard from you in a while. I hope everything is good. My team sucks as well, but not badly enough since I've also somehow managed to win two games.
-
I think it may have worked out too well...

How the hell did I win this week? Hoos, you're messing me up man! -
Hi Jeremy, I was looking at the waiver order for the week and I think there may be a problem. I'm pretty sure that the order should be based on our records, etc. but it looks like it's still the same order we finished with last season. Could you please take a look at it before you process waivers this week? Thanks.
-
Yeah, that's me this season. Lucky.

Thank God I didn't check the site at work this morning! The only question I have is... was that YOU Bill? Wait! I don't want to know... :Yucky: I think this should be Bill's new logo...

Went to Cabo San Lucas in April. First time in Mexico. Hotel balcony faced the Pacific Ocean. Awesome baby! -
Wow, this keeps getting better and better.
