  1. Every single freaking year there's a pile of new reasons to come back to the chipper. You just know that you're gonna get ur schlank grinded up and it's gonna hurt like h3ll, but for some reason, this time it's different. Ya sure, the old man still owns the chipper, but look at the shiny new wheels. Ok, the idiot still runs the chipper and it's leaking gas, but dang it if we can't make a run at this thing. The chipper's been gettin some good press and has looked really s3xy warming up. I'm start'n to see past the obvious flaws, and you know what, this chipper is making me hot. Here we go!!!!!!!

Oh f#$%ing $h1% that hurts!!!!! Holy @#$t!!

    why?

    why?

  2. Funny, I had Westy last year and absolutely love him. Maybe because I can look past one act that caused his team to lock up an important victory and focus on the fact that without him I would never have been in the playoffs, let alone the finals, let alone the champ. If you pass on him at #4 in a PPR, then you are just trying to lose.

  3. I havn't seen much discussion on Boldin lately. I have always loved his game. I don't think the contract issue will hurt him. If anything he has something to prove. Warner starting certainly has to bump him up. I'm thinking of trying to make a deal for him.....maybe trade Chris Perry since the guy owns Rudy also.

    Chris Perry for Boldin. Lol.

Once again, my guess is if the guy wanted Chris Perry, he could have drafted him.

    Boldin >>>>>>>> Chris Perry.

    This stuff cracks me up.

  4. one thing i hate is the people who ALWAYS turn down trades in a fit of paranoia. for instance, in a league where we keep 12 players i had a very strong stable of runningbacks and had trouble deciding who to keep (my last 2 rb cuts were ahmad bradshaw and chris perry). anyways there were several teams who couldn't find 12 to keep.

so, trying to mitigate both issues i offer the addai owner larry johnson and brandon jacobs for addai.

    i got laughed at...

the dude ended up keeping cadillac and fargas in addition to 4 qbs that included brodie croyle.

I would not have laughed at you, but rather said, "Oh, can I please give up one of the most guaranteed situations in fantasy football in order to take on two HUGE injury risks?" And then declined. But not laughed. That's just rude.

  5. I am definately jumping on this bandwagon. I don't think Green will get cut anymore since he just restructured his contract. But going back to the days of Dominik Davis the Houston RB has always been intriguing. I just hope I don't draft this guy in too many leagues and he falls flat on his face. I took him in a keeper league the other day before Rice and Mendenhall because I think he can play the quickest

In a keeper league? Huh. Can't say I agree with the choice. Ray Rice looks like the most promising long term guy out of the 3 if you ask me.

  6. These threads are my favorite!

I clicked on this one fully knowing that it was gonna be some assinine lowball that didn't even come close to being enough for Brady alone, let alone Brady AND Colsten. LMAO.

Back in 2001, I used to come here for the web's best fantasy insite and updates. Now it's straight up just entertainment.

Randle El..... LMAO.... He's hardly even draft-able.

Hey guys, I got one. Is it offering too much to give Bears D, Rob Bironas, Julius Jones, and Patrick Crayton for Brian Westbrook? I mean, I know the other guys is getting way more points than me, but I really really want Westy. Am I crazy!!!???

    :pointstosky:

  7. agreed.

I personally think that if you did away with the preseason, you'd actually see an increase in injury.

Think about it for a second...

Preseason = doesn't count = you don't play as hard = you don't play as often = you are trying to get into "game" shape so you don't get injured = you get less injuries

Season = you play your ass off as hard and fast as you can.

If you aren't in "game" shape, you get injured that much quicker, and that much easier.

Preseason is a great conditioning tool to cut down on injuries and to develop chemistry, especially seeing free agency takes away people, and coaches constantly change.

I'd definately a necessary evil. Paying full price for the tickets suck, but hey, show me something that is completely fair in this world, and I'll show you a gullible fool

    FALSE

FACT - There's a greater chance of injury in a half azz loafing game than in a real game. Sloppiness. Etc.

  8. Hey, can you rate my draft?

    Am I crazy?

The game is 30 seconds old and player X has no stats. Is he hurt!?!?!

    Check out this trade offer.

Check out what I need on MNF to win.

    BLOCKBUSTER deal in my league.

    Should I Veto?

Also, who should I start week one. Selvin or D-Will?

    No, really, WSIS?

  9. You idiots go ahead and drop Scheffler for Leonard pope. I'm stickin with the guy that has just as good a chance as anyone to finish the season as TE4 behind the big 3. Seriously, I've never seen so much over reaction to such a non issue in my life.

Oh, you must have missed the great Travis Henry suspension watch of '07 then. You need to hang around here more.

  10. 6) Eli Manning

    AHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHA! :headbanger: :pointstosky:

There it is. You don't get an opinion...... Eli Freaking Manning...... LMBO. Where's Trent Dilfer on your list? I mean, HE's won a super bowl too.

  11. Here's how I would save 1 pick for sure.

Completely punt your Wr2. Meaning, don't address it until late in the draft. Hope to get lucky there on the waivers, etc. Reason is, there are always those no-name wr's who come out of no-where to be decent starters. They're easier to find than good Rb's.

Spend the majority of your highest picks on Rb's, Wr1, and a good Qb.

Depending on how it goes, I would be looking for Top Rb, Stud Wr1, and prolly Qb or Rb2 with my first 3 picks.
