So I guess you wouldn't consider Cleveland one of those match-ups? I'm not thinking so... I agree you may need to play Mason in the shoot-out games but their D is looking pretty good. Looking at the schedule today, I only see 2x Bengals, Falcons, possibly the Saints and Charger (with an equally impressive D) games with constant lead changes where Balt would be forced to throw a bit more.

He's my #2 as well. Define Mr. Consistency. If that's 6-8 pts and rarely if ever gets you 0...then that's Mason the last two+ years. Look, I'm not benching him yet either but I was expecting more, even by week 2, and especially considering who they've played so far. I was excited with the addition of McNair again but having to suffer through last week's local coverage of the Raider and Ravens, I wasn't exactly impressed. He did "almost" have a score on his stretch to the goal line but didn't quite get there. Right now I'm expecting around the 850 4 TD range. And believe me, I've been looking to replace this guy, but I just haven't found anyone I'm comfortable with enough to bench Mason in place of the last two years I've had him locked down in my dynasty league.

have Jennings in two leagues but have yet to pull the trigger. He still scares me. It will be a 0, like in week 1, or he'll catch a long bomb for a TD. Bryant has been a big help filling in for Smith though. Williamson was a surprise too with two good weeks but I was sweating playing him this week. It took him a bit to get some yards and it seemed for most of the game he was sitting there with 1 catch for 23 yards. And Gore has bailed me out of the screw job Jordan has been laying to me.

so what's the deal with Wilford being ranked so high in the fftoday projections this week against Dallas? I haven't heard any news to think he's be that good of a play. What am I missing?

These are the RBs I forsee being available for my "keep your starters" league. We start QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, D in a standard scoring format. I'm sitting at the 8 spot and would really like to pair De'Angelo Williams with Foster and Jordan but I'm not sure if he'll be sitting there. Rookies tend to be taken extremely early and potential is often overvalued. Anyone able to throw some ideas of how the draft should play out in the 1st? Bush will go 1st but after that I'm really not sure. I've heard news of Addai/Williams going as possibly as early as the 3rd pick. I've considered dealing the 8th pick for Hines Ward since I need help at #2/3 WR spot. How do you all see this playing out? By joining the NFLPA, the Player agrees to the give rights of their name to the NFL. The NFL gives the player the right to play professional football under the NFL sanction and in turn the NFL gets rights to make money from their name in the form of merchandising. Why do the players agree to this? Simple. Money. When they sign the agreement, they are signing a lofty salary. A salary which is not possible without the NFL. The NFL is a for-profit business. NFL merchandising is just one way they make money. Now, at our expense, they want a piece of the fantasy football products. IMO it will not happen. how does this work when McNabb does a soup commercial but wears an Eagles uniform. Where is the line drawn between the individual and the league? I'm sure it's his endorsement deal, it's not the NFL making him do it, but yet he wears the jersey representing the NFL/NFL franchise...color me confused.

that's the way I am. With so many of the high priced "big-name" players concentrated across a few teams, no wonder the ratings are dog sh1t. Blame the economics of baseball; they have slowly been destroying their fan base each year something isn't done to level the playing field. I'm of the opinion there are less and less American youths playing the game. This has already been documented with less African-American youths participating in the game. It won't be long before a good population of the fan base is completely gone, as the babeball purists/old farts die off, and their isn't a decent influx of American talent to win new fans over. That's just my opinion. Baseball has been dead to me for the last ten years, but it was "my" sport growing up.
