Nope. Still got another 12 to 15 weeks to put up with it. Sorry.
-
My excitement is more a reflection on the body of work thus far as opposed to just this single week. Everyone knew the Pats were going to demolish the Fins today. It's this whole season that no matter the opponent, the Pats don't take the foot off the accelerator. I'm excited about what's happening now, as well as the potential of what they can accomplish this season. As a fan, it's my right to brag and boast and be happy with every Patriots victory. I won't tone it down just because you or anyone else here takes exception to it.

The Pats would definitely be in trouble if Brady were to go down. But same with the Colts if Manning went down. That's pretty much a given.
-
Steelers beat the Browns, Bills, 49ers, and Seahawks, none above .500, yeah that's a tough schedule
-
That schedule is gonna look a lot weaker after the Pats curbstomp the Steelers in December. Also, 1 win against teams with winning records? That's 1 more win than the Steelers have against teams with winning records this season.
-
Simple: I cheer loudly and proudly, thank you.
-
If the Chargers beat the Patriots, suddenly the Chargers are 4-2 and the Patriots lost to a team with a winning record. If the Browns beat the Patriots, suddenly the Browns are 4-2 and the Patriots lost to a team with a winning record. Strength of schedule argument is weak.

Their frustration brings me much joy. So far this has been by FAR the most fun season to be a Patriots fan, and there's a lot more football to be played. It gets better every week.

Again... 1-9-DAL 9 (1:54) 38-K.Eckel right tackle to DAL 6 for 3 yards (96-M.Spears). Timeout #3 by DAL at 01:48. 2-6-DAL 6 (1:43) 38-K.Eckel up the middle to DAL 5 for 1 yard (99-C.Canty). 3-5-DAL 5 (1:09) 38-K.Eckel left tackle to DAL 1 for 4 yards (31-R.Williams). 4-1-DAL 1 (:23) 38-K.Eckel right tackle for 1 yard, TOUCHDOWN. 3-S.Gostkowski extra point is GOOD, Center-66-L.Paxton, Holder-6-C.Hanson. You would have a point if the Patriots had a chance to run the game clock down to 0:00. Unfortunately your head coach decided to call a timeout, hoping his team would get the ball back. Well they got the ball back, all right.

Maybe the Dolphins can buy another recording of Brady's audibles
-
Sounds like speculation from the AP. In any case, they may end up being right anyway. I could see them heading into this game with Faulk, Evans, and Eckel as the only RB's, and going with a Brady aerial attack all day. Problem is no matter what year it is, the Dolphins defense always manages to apply pressure to Brady, at least when they play in Miami. This should be a slam dunk, but for us Pats fans that has seen all these NE/MIA games, it's far from it. It's nice not to have to worry about Chambers, at least. But yeah back on topic, nothing is confirmed as far as Maroney's status for this Sunday, but prepare as if he won't play.

Going from Cleo Lemon to Philip Rivers should, in theory, be an upgrade. On the flip side, he won't be the go-to guy in the passing offense (as that distinction is reserved for Gates). Plus you usually don't want a Chargers WR on your team, but Chambers is kinda good. As a Chambers owner, I don't know what to think. Also, who steps up in Chambers' place in Miami? Hagan? Ginn Jr.?
-
NORWOOD! First carry of the game for him, 67 yard touchdown run. Good....now get your head out of your ass Petrino and USE THIS GUY!!!
-
Judging strength of schedule after only 6 weeks, in an effort to diminish what the Patriots have done so far, is really nothing more than grasping at straws. I'm sure it's easy to think of the Patriots' opponents as cream puffs after the fact.

If New England clinches home field advantage too early
DBZFan2K replied to ricanrockers's topic in FFToday Board
Agreed. It's stupid to think the Pats can just waltz in there without a running game of any sort and win. Didn't happen in the AFCCG, and it probably won't happen this time either if they can't run the ball. -
My comparison may be off, as I've only ever seen Jackson's run against Seattle and that was it. MBIII is a punishing runner who never stops running full throttle on each carry. He fights for every yard, and I like to see that. Maybe not as fast as Bo, but everytime you see Barber it's like "Wow...now THAT'S a running back!"
-
Even though his carries were limited, I loved what I saw from MBIII yesterday. One of my favorite RB's to watch play. He's like a modern-day Bo Jackson in a sense.

Why do you say that? Are these posts going to find their way into the Colts' locker room? -

Nope, sorry, not going to listen to you. The Patriots are the best team of the 2007 season until proven otherwise. If you don't agree with me, that's fine, but I'm going to keep proclaiming it until it is proven otherwise. You're just going to have to deal with it. You're welcome.
