Better backup for plan Boldin...Jerheme Urban or Jeremy Maclin?
MrBurns replied to dreen626's topic in A Little Help!
This is really tough. The Eagles really spread the ball around. Urban will be the 3rd option against the Giants this week. Who else in on the wire I don't think Boldin will play this week. So that puts Urban in the starting line-up. Most of the Giants attention will go o Fitz. I would play Urban. -
I would go for it. Culpepper is horrible at QB. With both Stafford and Johnson have knee issues, the O-line looking like swiss cheese, and no running game to speak off stay away from all Lions. Please answer mine

I don't like the fact he is splitting with Williams and am looking to sell high. Currently I am trying to work a trade that would land me M.Ryan and Benson for Brown and a mix of other players.
-
I would also go with Smith and Schaub. Marshall most of the first half. I really don't think he knows the playbook too well. Schaub is just a gut feeling for me this week. The thing is I have Marshall and Edwards and they will be on my bench this week for sure. Help me out

I have a Wr/Te flex and am benching him for D.Clark. Though, I wouldn't mind playing him as a #3 this week. He is in that D. Jackson/A.Gonzalez range this week.
-
Not a Broncos fan. I was waiting on Palmer and he was taken right before me and was forced to take Cutler(meh). I just took Orton with my next to last pick hoping he might have a nice little stretch of games like he did last year for the Bears. I am probably going to play match-ups or try and trade for a better Qb. Prater was just a last round kicker pick. I am actually a Vikings fan.
-
I also nabbed him in the 6th as my 4th wr\te option. I talked my self out of taking him in the 5th. I ended up going with D.Clark instead. I think in that 5-6 range it is to tempting to pass up. The guy is a flat out beast, and in a contract year as well. The Broncos want to win and will play him opening week.

I think he is. Lets say Brees throws 30 tds. I would expect Colston to grab at least 8. Maybe not big time #1 numbers but for sure low-end #1wr material. I had the 3rd pick and took him in the 2nd and then grabbed R. White in the 3rd. I think Rb-Wr-Wr is the best way to go this year with a high pick.
-
So I am stacked at rb and need some wr depth. I am just trying to gage what caliber of WR I can get in return. The scoring in my league is really TD heavy with very minimal points for yardage. I have been offered D.Jackson from the Eagles and from another team, J. Cotchery of the Jets. I want to see if I can get anyone better. Live me a link and I will respond.

Trying to trade for Colston - is C.Perry and CHI too much?
MrBurns replied to ben4uf's topic in A Little Help!
I would be all over that, and twice on Sunday. Do you think that you will ever play Perry this year? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=325631 -
I would say it is a fair trade. People want to think they "won" a trade. Don't give in to your 2nd thoughts. LINK

I really like Warner this year. I would stick with what you have.
-
I love Marshall this year. As long as you think you can pull of the 2nd trade. I would try to trade T. Jones first. Though you could get more for Graham.
-
TO/MJD is better in my mind. Plus, with Marshall you have to worry a little about his new legal troubles. Are you starting MJD? If you are he makes up the difference in receptions between Marshall and TO.

All I need is for Westbrook not to have 4 TDs.

The Day Megatron Took Over the World!
MrBurns replied to Pocket Pair Professor's topic in FFToday Board
I sure hope so. He is my #1 WR today. -
In my league we start 1qb, 2rb and 3wr/te. I would be giving Brown. What do you think? Here is my team QB: C.Palmer,J.Kitna RB: M.Barber,F.Gore,L.White,R.Brown,C.Johnson WR/TE: B.Marshall,Megatron,D.Driver,J.Shockey,R.Brown,J.Gage K: N.Rackers DEF: Bears,Seahawks

Should I trade Thomas Jones for Calvin Johnson?
MrBurns replied to pathman's topic in A Little Help!
I would make the trade with the biggest grin on my face Johnson will come close to #1WR type numbers this year. LINK -
What is on the Waiver-wire? Anyways, I think Scheffler proved in the 2nd half of the season he can be a nice TE. I think they were just trying to start a fire under his but because they really don't have a solid #2 WR. Help me out please
-
For me it seems like a no-brainer to go with Holmes. I would consider him a legitimate #2WR maybe a low-end #1 by the end of the year. I wish my WR corps was that strong though. Help Me Out Please

I don't think it is a slam dunk for Perry. The Bengals will find it to be a tough going against Baltimore's defense. Also the colts arn't known for their stellar run defense either.
-
That is a real close one. Though would have to say Turner. I believe he is a better back than Jones. I also think Atlanta will play pretty well this year. Don't sleep on Matt Ryan.
-
In my league it was Brady. I took Barber at 5.
-
I knew that $20 I mailed Goodell would payoff for my team this year.

This is just to vent a little. It looks like I will score the 2nd most points this week and still am going to lose. My opponent played the KC DEF/ST which scored 16 points in my league, and beat me by 2 points. To put it over the top, I traded Portis and Roy Williams for S. Alexander and R. Moss to him the previous week(right before the ankle thing with Alexander)
