  1. I'm trying to figure out how to make use of Ware this weekend as well due to the juicy SD Run D matchup. I have to play 2 RBs and 2 WRs, and I have a RB/WR/TE FLEX position as well.

    CJ Anderson vs CAR

    Ryan Mathews vs CLE

    Hill @ NYJ

    Blount @ ARI

    Ware vs SD

    Yeldon vs GB

    ODB @ DAL

    Marshall vs CIN

    Marvin Jones @ IND

    Shepard @ DAL

I think that the only two no-brainers are ODB and Marshall. After that, I like Marvin Jones a lot, though IND is likely going to have their #1 DB on him (Vontae Davis IIRC).

I like Hill, but I don't know if I like Hill better than Mathews or CJ as starters.

Might want to rethink playing Marv since Vontae is hurt and out for a month. Indy signed cast off Antonio Cromartie. Detroit should ball out against that secondary.

  2. More so than the rain, it's the 14MPH wind that's gonna make it hard to throw those long bombs. This makes me rethink my Lockett at flex strategy. Maybe i'll go Sneed vs Det or Powell vs Dal.

Where is the link for this weather? nflweather.com has the weather as 45 with drizzle (light rain throughout the day) and 8 MPH winds

  3. I am considering benching Dalton for Wilson. Wilson has been hot lately, but I'm still skeptical because I don't think the Ravens will put up much of a fight. I also have Rawls, so I would be doubling down. But That first Pit-cinn game where it was 13-12 or something has me concerned this game will be similar.

  4. See the link above. Strong winds drop passing efficiency by 0.5 yards per attempt, and tend to make teams run more often...something like *two* more running plays per game. Cold is the real passing game killer.

That said, if you think Adams is ready to turn it on, you could do worse. I grabbed Adams up where I could, I think he's going to be good down the stretch. But I want one more good game before I sit a guy who's in the middle of establishing himself as uncoverable. Adams might outscore Diggs...Rodgers throwing you the ball, against the Lions...could do worse. I have both in one league, starting Diggs, fwiw.

Thanks for the feedback. Diggs value is tied to Teddy playing, and I thought I read somewhere that he hasn't been cleared to play yet by the doctor, but the coach still expects him to play. Hopefully they make that announcement by 1pm so owners aren't stuck without a replacement at 4pm if Teddy can't go.

  5. Anyone rolling with B Marsh tonight on TNF? I've been rolling with him as a starting WR, but these TNF games scare the heck out of me, plus he's banged up and on a short week. I just have the feeling that the Jets may go ultra conservative tonight with Fitz's sore thumb and running Ivory. I have other secondary options with better matchups, such as Diggs and Davante Adams, that I am strongly considering swapping him out. My opponent has Decker, so I am tempted to have some skin in the game. But I'm torn.

Anyone else going through a similiar dilemma about whether to play him tonight or not?

  6. Maybe Lacy is just prepping himself to be Starks main O-lineman... All joke aside this, just as much as his nagging injuries, I think the run play calls from the Packers have been really bad, causing Lacy to play with absolutely no flow... The clock is ticking but it is possible to see a Lamar Miller like turn around, teams aren't stacking the box against Rodgers, so I believe it's 75 percent play calling affecting his season.

  7. Reduced workload.

    Chance to heal completely.

    Some soul searching.

And a trainer who tells him to forsake simple carbs.

    Buy low.

Chances are he's going to hammer some faces in during the FF playoffs.

And if he doesn't...who cares?...you bought low...

  8. I just do not trust coaches anymore. Everything is thinking Starks is the guy, but I wouldn't be surprised if they give Starks the first series and then Lacy comes in for the majority of caries. I think a ham sandwich with legs (I know this is pretty much what Lacy is) could run on the Lions defense

  9. Yet another Hill/Gio tandem. Gio/Starks outplaying their first round counterparts. Lacy/Hill owners sticking to their guns even though they probably shouldn't. Both running backs ceilings are capped due to the timeshare. All four running backs will have their good games, but it will be tough to predict them.

  10. I remember McCarthy saying last season when we were in fantasy football playoffs(against Buff) that it would be a RBBC, and Starks rarely saw the field and it was all Lacy running on Buff, and he did quite well. If you have a starter or high volume RB, I would definitely go with them over Starks. The okie doke will be a hard pill to swallow if you start Starks and Lacy takes off.
