    help in keeper league

skeptical on Addai that high, Bush i wouldn't have such a problem with though imagine your team having LT and Bush for years to come i think you almost have to commit ASAP to a 3rd RB doing this though as Bush may not have as big a role as you would like out of a RB2 id stay away from either Jones with the #1, i like Keving better but not that much Boldin is your next best bet IMO http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=218845

    Unusual League Setup

id parlay the QB even further if it is only 4 pt TDs sub in your WR there and judge the QB talent vs the rest of the RB pool from the non out i'd personally wait on DST and K as they are never very predictable, nor is there a huge difference between rounds 6-9 take a DST high if you really want but K is a mistake high in mine you can start up to 4 RBs and i have done this type of drafting as well, very good for consistent points http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=218845

    S.Jacson, E.James, or L.Jordan

Rudi then Jackson for me.... i think Rudi is a bit more stud worthy although this is a close one i dislike Edge a bit as you say due to his poor line http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=218845

    Keeper League Deal

id do it i think you are going to get another good starter with that 1st rounder and Tiki should be on the decline Brown is looking up and you get Boldin who could be a stud this year i would like to see the rest of your roster but i think it sounds good right now http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=218845

    McNabb or E. Manning

long term i would say Eli we have seen what McNabb can do with and without a top WR, Eli should only be able to match or better those numbers within a few seasons http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=218845

    Dynasty Trade

veto should never occur unless there is concrete evidence of collusion whats to say that Team A is out of it? the season hasn't begun and you're already out of the hunt... give me a break i dont understand how that other trade got vetoed either, lopsided sure but if both parties agree in fairness it should always stand

Good News, i pulled the number 1 pick

id grab LT if this is ppr Rivers should be forcing it to him and Marty will be forcing it to him on the ground as well ive dropped LJ to #3 overall, i have always had SA ahead of him but with Roaf/Richardson/Welbourne now it seems like he is going to have to do too much im not scared of Bennett, insurance and some breathing room is all he is i wouldnt expect another 100 catch season but id think it would be way up from the past years, not to mention the many many ways LT managed to score last year against a much tougher schedule

    Which rb is better?

id go with Brown as you say, Jacobs will cut into Tikis value where there is nobody taking from Brown Tiki would be the lock if this was ppr but as it is not id go with Brown

    Please Rate my (keeper) Team

Bush 1/Portis 2 is very odd.... i cant see how this would have worked out for you Bush is a bit iffy but will be a nice keeper and should have some value as a starter i'd like to see more depth at RB but i think you picked up some nice late round guys that could fill in oin a pinch dont care a lot for the WR depth but thats what the WW is for.... i like Denver as a DST this year, Williams should get a few TDs on returns for you like the QBs i think in all Bush was the worst pick for you, although you may be loving it down the road you may also be kicking yourself as well, not getting Portis would have sunk your team but if he fell that far i would have loved to see who else was around when you nabbed Bush.... should have been someone good that you could have wiped your league up with

defensive players who return kicks and punts?

Justin Miller may handle KR duties for the Jets but i wouldnt see a whole lot of value unless he wins the nickle job, even then it isn't anything terrific Ike Taylor in Pitt does KR, pretty good value if i remember correctly last year Jason David in Indy, could start at CB Buchanon in Houston, not the best CB but still a starter nonetheless i dont want to give this one out but Darrent Williams.....huge this year, mark my words - CB/KR/PR as mentioned Rossum although he doesn't play much on the defensive side of things anymore McGee is a very solid selection too if people sleep on him, they shouldnt by now but his first year really was a surprise thats all that i see

    Ryan Moats projections

even if they did get better will he even see the time on the field to get 35? there are some wacky projections and i hate to criticize an expert opinion as i am not the supposed expert but i agree that this is a bit high i havent heard much word on the guy out of camp as he has been injured and not likely practicing that much

    Brandon Jacobs

Giants probably wont have a very high pick until the year after Tiki retires i could see them going the route of taking one later this year like Indy did, there are usually capable starters to be found later... why do you think they will trade up(only scenario i see until they bomb one year) for a RB?
  13. i was reading the articles here about the new HC and how they will impact their teams this year for Minny: isnt that a bit of a stretch?

    Keeper league help

it would make no sense either way IMO if he spends the 3d to keep CJ and then trades him to you then he is out a player.... it would make more sense to keep someone else and throw CJ back into the mix and hope that he can re-draft him not only that but you'd be getting an extra keeper, you cant pay the retention cost twice for a player..... if you trade him your 3rd the nyou couldn't keep him based on his designation as you wouldn't have the 3rd rounder to give up for him unless you make another trade to secure one we just switched to a keeper this year and the way it will be done is your whole roster is kept until draft day when keepers are announced
  15. all WCO are not the same how is Childress connected to Holmgren besides coaching for Reid? whats to say that Reid even plays a similar offense to Holmgren? they dont really, look at the balance of play calling, how can you say that Seattles offense is anywheres near the pass first approach Philly takes?
  16. Reid coached under Holmgren Childress coached under Reid KRob plays for Childress KRob played for Holmgren therefore KRob knows this system...... how is that a good argument?

    compare teams...experts only

lets see, you give up Alexander who is favored by your scoring to get Hasselbeck who is not favored the WR/TE position isn't that huge a difference IMO so why is there any thought involved here... Parker isn't going to make up the difference you lose 6 pt pass TDs might make team 1 worth it, not with 4 though i hate stupid 4 pt TDs

    Deuce McAllister

i'd say the balance would be more split 200-200 ish than Deuce getting 300+ Deuce really has to be listed as the starter now too since Bush has only been through 2 days of practice, i would expect that to change closer to the preseason i think he is still a great value though(rounds 9-10 in 10 teamers) but he will fill a Bettis type role for the most part a lot of GL touches and high TD number but not a candidate to have huge yardage numbers

    Reggie Brown or Roddy White?

without Price in town and White's second year now in ATL, i can see him doing a little bit more but i dont know if i will call him a breakout stud or a steal if im not mistaken they have changed their offense to move away from the WCO that they were using?? if thats the case then it would be a huge boon to the Falcons offense while Vick has never been a huge stats guy his best season came out of the WCO when Reeves was coaching(2900-16-8) not huge numbers but with more years of experience that should be up i have tempered expectations of him andhe'd be a deep sleeper although i too would be willing to give him a roster spot for now just to see how things turn out as for Brown, yes i think he is a big sleeper this year Philly has a good pass first offense and he is their best target by far he should have a really good year and is definately someone i am targetting in drafts right now

    FFT rankings.....

i know rankings can be different due to personal preference and all but what the hell is going on here? Zach Hilton is rated #9 for TEs ahead of McMichael, Clark, LJ Smith, Miller, and Stevens hell, i'd be more willing to put my faith in Winslow right now than Hilton sure he had a good second half of last year but he still remains 3d on the depth chart and is taking 3rd team reps in camp..... he might not even start and he is still rated 9th i would also like to hear the reasoning for having Roy Williams, Joe Horn, and Donte' Stallworth rated 26th-28th respectively what has Stallworth done to be anywheres near those two guys, or i should say what has Roy and Joe done to be ranked so god damn low? i think most people can also say that Matt Jones will be good, but 19 seems a little high for someone who has played the position for a year and hasn't fully been declared the #1 WR not that kicker rankings are worth a whole lot but Nugent should never be rated above Rackers.... EVAH and even a homer wouldnt rank the Jets D 7th overall i didnt realize Palmer was a 5th tier QB.... injury or not he is still often in the top 5 QBs off the board in most drafts with all the negativity here about Vick i laugh that he is 9th(above Palmer, Warner, Brees, Delhomme....) im amazed here.... i would expect this ###### from FOXSports or SI but not from here.....

    strenghth of schedual

i dont look at it SOS is based off of last year and there are a lot of changes to teams so they don't neccesarily still hold true from season to season im sure 2 years ago you could have looked over a schedule and thought that a matchup with Tennessee looked grim, that turned out just the opposite SOS also measures win percentage, not defense so a 'hard' schedule might not mean anything for fantasy purposes, the player may dominate but the team still have it tough and lose

    FFT rankings.....

risks?? picking a non-starting TE isnt a risk, its being stupid and uninformed i'll say that there are a few shakeups from the norms but overall these are pretty unimpressive lists i do for sure, i was just going over these because i forgot to list the bye weeks

    "PICK ME" on NFL NETWORK...WOW!

i have always wondered how come Rackers was so god awful in Cincinnati... it was painful to watch the Bengals actually have a close game and have Rackers shank 30 yard kicks or miss XPs you could have easily made a 30 minute lowlight video of his fockups every season.... it was pathetic i dont know if those are fake or not but i always have doubts
