Cool little trivia game. It's entertaining nostalgia, trying to remember all those crappy unknowns who got lucky once in their careers.
-
I'm definitely starting him. So the Bears shutout the Dolphins. One game. Big deal. For that I'm supposed to give up on golden leg? I don't think so.
-
Tolbert doesn't seem to mind...

Old news

Freaking A, why can't you Mathews-owners let it go? Are you never going to be able to let go of the pre-season hype, despite nearly a full season of evidence? He has sucked all year, but somehow you're still in his trance. W-T-F. I'm worried about you guys, seriously. You need a professional to de-hypnotize you. You should have cut bait on that bum a long time ago, but you're like battered wives that can't ever seem to walk away from a bad bet. It's brutal to witness.

I might have to consider benching Megatron or Bowe to get Jackson in my starting lineup. All other Chargers receivers are hurting and Jackson seems poised to see at least 10-15 targets. Against Indy, this could be a barn-burner. Huge potential on this one. Rivers will look to him early and often.
-
Not only is Rivers the #1 QB in FF, but think about where he was drafted (behind the likes of Brees, Manning, Rodgers, etc). What a steal!
-
In his 1st year, Bowe had 995 yards and 5 touchdowns. In his 2nd year, Bowe had 1022 yards and 7 touchdowns. Most wide receivers "break out" in their 3rd year, but unforunately Bowe was injured and it was a messy campaign. This is technically his 4th year, but still kinda 3rd year hangover, and he's on pace 1144 yards and 18 touchdowns. Steady improvement, year after year; he's becoming a complete receiver. If only Kansas City was a passing team...

After seeing Floyd get manhandled last night, I'm even higher on Vincent Jackson than before
-
2010 or not, he made Floyd his biyatch on that Interception. Floyd went up with weak ass hands and Champ just strong-armed it away from him. He also missed another easily catch-able ball which would have resulted in a long first down. That's why you'll see Vincent Jackson move back to his #1 WR role, among other things.
-
Denver is ranked 30th against the run, but San Diego won't exploit it. Tolbert has 41 yards...on 6 carries! GIVE HIM THE ROCK
-
Nah, I had Bowe in my WR2 slot and Tolbert got my flex this week. On Thanksgiving, unless Tolbert starts again, Danny will get the flex.

Woodhead

I'm starting Vincent Jackson, Week 12, in my Flex/WR3 slot. He should come out strong vs. Indy in a high-scoring affair.
-
The Bears have definitely gotten by on an easy schedule, but winning can have a strange effect on a talented defense and they might just start believing in themselves enough to beat quality teams down the stretch. For instance, Peppers came up with 3 sacks vs. the Dolphins. He's played bad teams all year and didn't have a game like that. It's possible they step it up, at least defensively. I still don't trust Cutler and that offense though...
-
I dropped Torain. He's injured, Portis is coming back, and Williams is healthy. +Shanahan Shenanigans. He's become an unreliable option.
-
I'm not jumping ship on Carpenter. His fantasy playoff schedule is golden. The Dolphins play at home Weeks 15 and 16, hosting Buffalo and Detroit.
-
What's the big deal? This is not 2009. Brett is a threat every week to be done for the season and TARDvaris couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. The people getting excited about Rice are the same people who got excited about Randy Moss...and how did that work out? Don't underestimate that bad hip either. Rice is highly unlikely to be a reliable fantasy option.
-
It's precisely because their O-line is beat up they must stop asking it to pass-protect all the time. Their linemen are slow-footed and there's nothing simpler than plowing ahead in run blocking.

Nothing better than your opponent starting off bad on Thursday.....

I knew Thiggy would suck, but I figured that would just mean more failed drives leading to more Field Goals for Carpenter. But I underestimated that a QB could suck THAT bad, ensuring they can't even pick up a single first down (much less cross midfield). Carpenter might really be worthless if Thigpen remains the starter. -
If the Steelers want to win this year, they're going to have to slow down the Air Roethlisberger show and start running the ball. Wallace has been hot because Big Ben has been throwing like he's in a freaking Run-and-Shoot, but they're looking weaker by the game because of it. If Tomlin is smart, he'll get back to Steelers football; that could lower the ceiling for Wallace moving forward...or it could stay open with a functioning Play Action game. Who knows. The Steelers are a mess right now.
-
If only they got to play a Thigpen-led Dolphins team every week...

Carpenter has been golden, leading the NFL in Field Goals entering last night. This was supposed to be another good outing, but the Dolphins never once got in Field Goal range. Yes, it was only a kicker, but Carpenter's the kind to drop 10+ points on you. Take the 0 and feel lucky. -
Brandon Marshall actually improves with the QB

Thigpen = Marino (if Marino had been teh suck)
