0-2, Need a win BAD...MJD, DEUCE, or Hines Ward @ flex? PPR

Ward over either of the New Orleans players makes a lot of sense to me. The Titans held Indy in check pretty well, so I'm not buying this being the Saints' break-out week either. I DO like Hines to score this week against San Fran. Thanks for answering mine.

WES WELKER OR CHRIS CHAMBERS IN WEEK 3

If Chambers is injured, this is a piece of cake. I'm also not a fan of Chambers, so I would probably pick Welker. He's almost a lock for 80-100 yards. If he gets a score then you are looking good a WR2 (?). Thanks for answering mine.

    Trade Help?

How many do you have to start? What will HIS team look like after the trade? I like the upgrade to Barber, but think you are overpaying if you give up Branch. Counter for a little bit better WR and I like it. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=289671

    WDIS at Receiver?

Might as well throw Berrian in, too. He gets that very bad Dallas pass D.

    Big Trade

You don't like playing Peterson (MIN) and Jordan off one another? One more thing to consider... I have 3 of my 4 RB's on bye Week 5. McNabb is also on bye along with Curry. I think I can cover all my positions that week, but I may still be forfeiting a win since the roster will look something like: QB - Kitna RB - Parker WR - Boldin/CalJohnson/Welker TE - Gates K - Wilkins DEF - Steelers

    Big Trade

I'm still going back and forth with an owner in my league in hopes of getting Terrell Owens. He balked at Peterson & Boldin for Owens & TJones, so I am thinking of offering this... I Give: Rudi Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Boldin I Get: Thomas Jones, Terrell Owens, TJ Housh Is this just too far overboard on my part? I think for the upgrade he's getting at RB, and the relative drop-off from his receivers to mine, that the total points going forward won't be so different. My Roster QB – McNabb, Kitna RB – Willie Parker, Rudi, Peterson, Lamont Jordan WR – Cal Johnson, Boldin, Curry, Welker, Berrian TE – Gates K – Wilkins DEF - Steelers Leave a link and I'll answer yours.

Looking ahead - Who to start at WR - Pick 3 of 4

Some really great matchups for you. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these guys, so maybe you look at the QB's. Branch and CJ seem like very solid bets for yards and a TD. Curry and Moss are a toss-up to me, leaning toward Moss because NYG's secondary is so bad. I think he will score (maybe a couple of times) against the Giants. WDIS: Boldin, Curry, Welker

OK, getting a little frustrated with Boldin and the Cardinal offense this season. Too committed to the run and Leinart has been slow to get it going and find his studs. I think I have some favorable matchups from my reserves this week and wondered if you would start any of these guys over Boldin. Welker v. BUF (he has as many targets as Moss so far, just 3 fewer receptions, and just needs to break one) Curry v. CLE (this is the same team that gave the Bungles 6 passing TD's) Boldin plays at Baltimore, so I don't like the Cards to score much this week anyway. It's probably a more appropriate WDIS if I just ask Welker or Curry. Thoughts? Leave a link.

    SJAX Trade

Nope. Moose isn't going to see much of anything as long as Grossman is passing the ball. Beyond Berrian and Clark, you might as well ignore any receiver in Chicago. I have Berrian and he's barely serviceable as a 5th WR in my roster. Honestly I'm surprised this guy even has Moose... how many teams are in your league? SJax may get on track, but the offensive line problems suggest he may have been a little overrated. The Saints have started slow, but there are no injuries to explain the start. You have to think they will start clicking again.

    Help with WR!

Tough call. I have sworn myself off of Chambers after his crappy season a year or two back. I can't remember when I had him, but I know it was traumatic enough to block it from specific memory. He IS catching passes this season, though, and is Green's only real target. Edwards will have a tougher matchup to face but it the better player. Can Derek Anderson actually have two good games in a row? All said, I'd probably go Edwards. Could be my bias, but I actually like Anderson better than Green. Who would ever think Anderson would be the better of two choices?

    SJAX Trade

Stand pat. You lose in EITHER trade. Housh may end up a Top 10 WR this season...

Who to drop for Packer D

Why do you want the Green Bay defense at this moment? They play San Diego this weekend and probably are not the play over Jacksonville @ Denver. Are you worried someone else is going to pick them up? If you absolutely HAVE to pick them up, then Jax is the only drop that makes any sense.

    WDIS: Boldin, Curry, Welker

My other WR is Calvin Johnson. No way I'm benching him in the game he has. On my way to answer all your questions...

Which TE should I trade for?

Because of what the poster above said about Spaeth in Pittsburgh, I would also target Johnson. Miller isn't exactly lighting the world on fire and that's in a Steeler offense that has put up 60 points this season. Johnson has 11 receptions (2nd to Colston) in a Saints offense that has been slow to get it going. When they do turn on the switch, he makes a better play. Trade Evaluation

It's not a BAD trade because Roy is the #1 in his offense while TJ is the #2. Both offenses are pass-happy, so those guys are going to produce. My only concern will be whether Cincy has to keep passing like crazy to make up for a bad D. Also how good Calvin Johnson is going to be by the end of the year. I would've kept Campbell over McNair based on upside, but hopefully you don't have to worry about starting either of these guys except during a bye week. I'd say this trade is about as fair as they come. I'd be OK with taking either side.

    Trade Opinions?

Ok, here's the situation. I have a lot of RB depth I am trying to get rid of in order to upgrade my WR corps. I offered an owner Adrian Peterson and Anquan Boldin for Terrell Owens and Thomas Jones. He came back asking for Rudi Johnson. My fears with Peterson are Chester Taylor and the rookie wall. If he holds up, though, you have to like his schedule better with the Giants, Lions, and 49ers on the fantasy playoff schedule. Also there is concern about Rudi being involved if Palmer is throwing the ball 50 times a game. The projections I have seen actually give Peterson more total yardage and TD's for the rest of the season. Thoughts? My Team QB - McNabb, Kitna RB - FWP, Rudi, Adrian Peterson (MIN), Lamont Jordan WR - Boldin, Calvin Johnson, Bernard Berrian, Mark Clayton, Ronald Curry TE - Gates DEF - Pittsburgh K - Elam Start: QB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, K, DEF

    Would you make this trade?

First off, are you sure this isn't a 5 team league? Jeez that's a lot of talent. #1 WR, #1 K, #1 DEF, and solid RB's and QB options. I can't imagine you are anything less than the favorite to win your league. That said, I agree with the other poster. Trading just to trade away a player on the same team as another player is not always a good idea. CJ and Housh are going to catch a lot of passes and TD's when Palmer is throwing the ball 50 times a game. I wouldn't trade for Romo (nice start, but will it last?) and Branch (hit and miss in a Seahawk offense that wants to run). Stick tight... you're in the cat birds seat of this league. trade help

Are you close at all to competing for a title? If you are, I wouldn't pull the trigger. Westbrook appears like the only viable pro in that Eagle offense. He's going to get monster yards just because no one else will. Going forward, though, Bush is definitely the better player. So if you are building for the future, go Bush.

    Help with WR starters!

Curtis a deep threat? In what world? The guy runs good routes to get open for quick passes and stuff underneath. He's not going to seperate from a DB to get deep and beat the secondary over the top. Curtis may have a nice afternoon against the Lions, but not because he's a deep threat. I'd start Marshall, BTW. I'm serioulsy considering to pick him up for my team. I already have him in another league. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288831
