    2011 Top O-Lines for 2011

Just some dudes opinion, Barry Sanders had an awful O line in his career and look what he did? Point is talent trumps rotoanalysts opinions, and AP has talent!

Hakeem Nicks, I Keep Placing Him As The #1 WR

I like this thread. I am personally staying away from the Big 2 WR (johnson, White) because I have FITZ and NICKS finishing the year top 3 overall for wrs.

    Rate these RBs

Blount Jones Hillis Bradshaw Grant YEP>>>>I read PPR format and Blount will not need to catch 50 balls to beat these guys. He is top 10 back this year IMO

What's your favorite spot to draft from this year?

I would take 3rd and run with it getting any of the consensus top three backs and the earlier 2nd round pick (AP, CJ, AF) of the two in front of you.
  5. uwilose123

    CJ - VY = ?

Your overall number 1 pick this year.....that's right ...I said it. Dude had 1,600 yards and 12 tds in a "down" year with no QB and a team that quit the last four games. I preface this by saying I completely expect them to sign Hasselback or another veteran for week one. Great Schedule: 30 @JAX 5 BAL 31 DEN 15 @CLE 2 @PIT BYE 27 HOU 22 IND 29 CIN 26 @CAR 7 @ATL 14 TB 20 @BUF 11 NO 22 @IND 30 JAX

    RB Maurice Jones-Drew, JAX

Sweet matchup, great number 2 back this week. Let do THIS Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (knee) is listed as doubtful for the team's Week 16 game, reports Tania Ganguli, of The Florida Times-Union. Read more: http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl#688654#ixzz193Rq8yux

Looking Ahead to FF Redrafts: 2011

I do think Ray Rice will be a late 1st rounder. No way I would pass on getting him as a 2nd back next year....even with McGahee.
  8. Just another reason why head to head formats suck. Fight all year to lose your starters... No this is not real football...its fantasy! Hope the scrub with Mike Goodson and Matt Flynn mop you up because THAT would happen in real life right? TOTAL POINTS FORMATS RULE

    Arian Foster Owners

I took him at 3.2 and 3.8 of two ten man leagues as my 2nd back. Some guys didn't even know his name. I told my wife on Thursday after the 2nd td that she would be allowed to bang him if she elected and I would not object or blame her!

    Leagues without head to head

Your statement is so completely wrong i actually laughed out loud. SO what your saying that is if my team wins a week 15 game (which may happen to be a playoff game) that it is better than winning a week one game? Absurd. Total points is the only way to go. Whoever wins 16 weeks of football has the best team...period. Playing head to head rewards luck - plain and simple. Analyze your draft, make your waiver wire pickups, plan for the future, and beat all nine other teams week in and week out for 16 weeks and your a champion. Or, have the best record dominate your league for 15 weeks and losein your "championship game" as Michael Vick just happens to score 52 points because the team he was facing rested all their players. Yeah...that sounds fair.

    Dwayne Bowe

THE experts are all laim. No one is or has been giving this guy any credit including this site. Look at lasts week analysis. I traded him straight up for Reggie Wayne this week and now I look and feel like a sucker!!!
  12. Calvin Johnson actually got more targets with Hill at QB. 39 targets through 4 games with Hill as started. I'm looking at a trade with the possibility of getting one of the three.

Anyone have a deep sleeper rb?

Looking for a crap shoot as a possible number 4 back.

    Trade Proposal

My Team PPR League: QB - Orton, Cutler RB - Chris Johnson, Arian Foster, Beanie Wells WR - R Moss, Marshall, SIms Walker, M X Williams, Branch TE - Pettigrew, Graham I have been offerred Charles, Nicks, Maclin for CJ, Marshall, Sims Walker. Essentially the last place guy wants to swap out his team for a new start. Will give me added help at wr. I'm currently in 2nd place, should I stay put or make the deal?

    Sell HIgh on Forte Trade?

PPR League: Orton, Cutler Chris Johnson, Forte, Portis, Wells, McGahee Austin, Marshall, Walter D Clark I have been offerred S Green, Andre Johnson, T Gonzalez for D Clark, Marshall, Forte? I know it makes my number 2 rb weaker, however, before last week Forte was weak leak anyway and now I can upgrade to have CJ, AJ, and Austin and piece together my number two rb with Green / McGahee / Wells etc?
  17. uwilose123

    Would You Make This Trade?

PPR League: Orton, Favre, Cutler Chris Johnson, Forte, Wells, Portis, McGahee Austin, Marshall, Walter, D Bryant Dallas Clark My rb2 is killing my team. I have been offered Thomas Jones, Charles, H Nicks for Forte, Austin, Bryant or Charles and Nicks for Austin straight up. Should I consider either one or stay pat and hope Forte comes around? To me Nicks and Marshall will both still be top ten wrs.

    Arian Foster...

From Texas Chronicle writer John Mccain: Now that the euphoria over the Texans destroying Dallas has subsided, it's time to look ahead -- not to Tampa Bay on Thursday but to Indianapolis on Sept. 12. Can you imagine what it'll be like if the Texans play the Colts the way they played the Cowboys? Yes, it was just a preseason game, but the Texans did what they had to do -- re-energize, rebuild some confidence among their fans and prove to themselves that New Orleans was an aberration. The best thing to come out of the Dallas game was the performance of the front seven. After they decided to sleepwalk through the New Orleans game, it was good to see the intensity level turned up a couple of notches. As Bernard Pollard pointed out, if they can play each game with the attitude they had against the Cowboys, they can make the playoffs. That's a big if, of course, because we've never seen the Texans be consistent from start to finish. There's a lot to like about the Texans right now. Let's look at the offense first. One thing I like that new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison has done is to allow the backs some freedom when they get the ball. They still use the one-cut-and-go system, but if the back thinks he can hit the outside rather than make that cut where the defensive players can be waiting, he has the freedom to do it. The linemen, led by right tackle Eric Winston, are coming off an exceptional game. Chris Myers, Duane Brown, Wade Smith, Kasey Studdard, Mike Brisiel and Antoine Caldwell did a terrific job of blocking. They're not restricted to zone blocking under Dennison, either. The red zone is still a problem, but remember, they've had two touchdowns called back in the last two games. I think Arian Foster, at 6-1, 227, is going to be good inside the 5. I've been telling people to take him in your fantasy league because they're going to get in the red zone a lot, and they're going to get inside the 5 a lot. I think Foster will score 10 to 15 touchdowns if he stays healthy. Foster is very disciplined and follows the blocks well. He's always playing with a chip on his shoulder about being bypassed in the draft. That's good for the Texans and bad for opponents. Steve Slaton is a good change-of-pace back because he's an outstanding receiver. I'm excited to watch Jeremiah Johnson run against the Buccaneers. Because Slaton is out with a toe injury, Johnson's going to get the ball a lot. He's averaging 5.4 yards a carry to Foster's 6.1. By the way, we'll have to wait until the Colts game, but it's going to be fun to see Owen Daniels back on the field making up for lost time. Gary Kubiak said getting 15 to 20 plays from him against Indianapolis would be ideal. I don't know about you, but I'm glad to see Jacoby Jones returning punts again. I want the Texans to get him the ball as much as possible. Before he can overtake Kevin Walter, Jones has to become as consistent as a route runner and blocker as Walter. Jones also has to make fewer mistakes. Still, there's no doubting his big-play capability, and when they have three and four wideouts in the game, they're hard to stop. I'm sure they'll keep four tight ends -- Daniels, Joel Dreessen, James Casey and Garrett Graham. I think Anthony Hill will be placed on PUP. That means they'll probably keep one fewer wideout, perhaps just four. Looking at the defense, it all starts up front, of course. They did an exceptional job of stopping the Cowboys' running game. They got after Marion Barber and Felix Jones from the first play. The performance of the defense begins against the run. It's fun to watch the young cornerbacks play. They're going to give up completions, and they're going to give up touchdowns, but they're going to get better and better. The toughest decision on the cut to the final 53 will be kicker. Kris Brown and Neil Rackers have done a remarkable job. They're so even. They've handled the situation well. Both will be kicking in the NFL this season. Because many of the starters are sitting out the Tampa Bay game, here are the players I've going to watch carefully: Johnson, running back Chris Henry, quarterback Dan Orlovsky, tight end James Casey, tight end Garrett Graham, guard Shelley Smith, receiver Dorin Dickerson, cornerback Kareem Jackson, defensive end Earl Mitchell, defensive tackle Malcolm Sheppard, cornerback Sherrick McManis, free safety Troy Nolan, outside linebacker Darryl Sharpton, cornerback Antwaun Molden, safety Torri Williams and linebacker Isaiah Greenhouse.

    foster in the 3rd?

Not at all, I plan to do it tomorrow. I picked Westbrook and Barber in the 3rd last year in two diff leagues...so it can't turn out any worse than those two!
  21. Aaron Rodgers – Total Passing Yards in the 2010 NFL Regular Season Player must start Week 1 for wager to have action. Regular Season Only. Over / Under 4225 Aaron Rodgers – Total TD Passes in the 2010 NFL Regular Season Player must start Week 1 for wager to have action. Regular Season Only. Over / Under 29½ The over / under on passing yards and tds for both Manning and Brees are 4,500 and 33.....The guys with the money are not betting on Rodgers to have the most fantasy points this year at QB!

Here is What Vegas Projects for Top 3 QB's

Good point...however, Turner is projected to catch more balls this year...so I dunno if it offsets that td difference...

My team drafting from the #2 spot

What a waste of Adrian Peterson. Did you really take Gates that high in the 3rd in a non ppr league? Dumb
  25. I love people that claim his adp of 5th round is too high. Good luck on taking the Jerome Harrison and other scrub backs in the 5th round and later, whats the upside with any of those guys? They all fumble a few times or do something inconsistent and you are ###### out of luck also. I am not missing out on this years ray rice...count on it.
