  1. There are at least four or five big pay sites out there, but curiosity has me wondering how these sites do every year and if they are ever tracked for success? How do you measure success -maybe number of top ten position pick projections that actually finish? Some may say top ten is squat and I pay for sleepers to win my draft blah blah, but I say that I need at least 2 of my first 3 picks to perform to have a competitive chance at a title. I have found that most sites are mostly based on consensus with a few reaches that usually don't pan out, however, people pay for the weekly monitoring and tracking for free agents and potential sleepers also.

  2. Everybody is going to talk you out of that strategy, and it will be the same guys that made the same argument two years ago (albeit they both never went that high two years ago). I think the best spot to take that risk will be if you had a top three overall pick and took Brady in the 2nd and Moss in the early 3rd or vice versa. Picking Turner, AP, or Jones Drew locked up with Brady and Moss could be lethal if it pans out. This is all considering their current draft position with Brady borderline top five overall QB and Moss as a top five overall WR. One long bomb in the preaseason from these two will have them shooting up everyones draft board so it may not be feasible that they will even fall that far....

Peyton and Brees will probably be taken over Brady in most drafts and the injury risk may scare some to let him fall even further...

  4. CEDRIC BENSON...

He reminds me of Jamal Lewis of a few years back when I scooped him up at the end of the 2nd round and watched him destroy opponents for a 2,000 yard season. The Chicago Offensive line is one of the better units in the league, they are a run first team and even with Rex Grossman struggling the special teams and defense will keep games close. Everyone is worried about his injury history and lack of experience in carrying a full load, however, my response to that comment is to take Adrian Peterson with a late pick and let your fears subside. At the very worst if Benson goes down, Peterson will still put up respectable 2nd rb numbers.

  5. First let me say this, I don't post on here very often but I do enjoy reading good posts. I didn't believe any of the hype on this guy until recently I read that one of the coaches on the Giants claim in mini camp that B Jacobs was faster than Tiki Barber! Take it for whats it worth, but I will gobble this guy up in the third round and ride him, he will be this years Steal of The Draft!

  6. I'm on a team of 6 (two people draft, the rest of us were moderators for other drafts). Did it in Vegas last year. Had a blast. Can't wait to do it again this year.

How did you make that work? We've got a group of four that want to get in, however, the only way we can think of doing it is by creating two teams hence two entries. From what I read they only allow two people per team at a table, how did you decide who to pick with six people?

  7. I don't think its that farfetched, however, I can't seem to place both Fitz and Boldin in my top 6 to 7 receivers. The situation is eerily similar to the Ward vs Burress situation a few years back when they were both rated in the top 10 and Burress sucked that year! I think that this will be a huge year for Chambers and I'm taking him over Boldin. I'm not saying that Boldin isn't a good receiver, however, cmon guys do we really think they are both going to catch over 100 balls (or even 85-90 apiece)! Who's with me? :bandana:
