At the Manning Camp over the summer, I watched him drop 5 yards deep in the end zone and put it on the opposite 20-15. I AM NOT EXAGERATING! The second strongest arm of the bunch was Lester Ricard (Tulane) who was putting it out there around 70 yards. Eli, Peyton, Leak, Stanton, and Zwick were all hanging around 60-65. The announcer (Cooper Manning) during the exhibition was pumping Jamarcus up as the biggest quaterback on the planet with the strongest arm he had ever seen. This coming from the son of Archie and the borther of Peyton and Eli, who no doubt has seen his share of QB talent. P.S. The mannings are some of the biggest male whores I have ever seen. They go stupid every year they come down here. The bar tab is always open wherever they go!

I'm a big time Tiger fan down here in LA. and as much as you guys are praising Jamarcus he has got an equal amount of bull$hit from fans who still think Matt Flynn needs to be the QB. Alot of those ignorant fans use that sterotype of thinking Jmarc is dumb or has charachter issues, WHICH IS UNTRUE. Russell has never had an issue off the field at LSU, the only real knock on him was the inability to control his weigh in the offseason, which I think was also mostly bull. I see him every offseason during the summer at the Manning Passing Academy and he has never seemed out of shape or over weight. He also put Peyton, Eli, C. Leak and D. Stanton to shame with his arm strength during the thrwoing exhibition they put on here every summer. All this being said, HE'S GONE. I told all my friends 3 months ago that if the Raiders have the number 1 pick they will select Jamarcus Russell, I think I'm in pretty good shape with my 3 to 1 odds I bet with someone.

Yes I have been posting on and off. (I actually started this thread) I lost 8 units today but still up 54 on the season (college/pro). The thing is I don't usually bet str8 bets. I always parlay with the real line. I hate teasing games or betting one team straight up, there's no money in it for a somewhat small timer like me. Also I never bet on weekday games! I did earlier in the season but I kept getting burned on some real unusual things. Not saying the fix was in but I am just very suspicious of them and continue to be when I give my betting friends advice. I always look forward to you and Philly's insight. I don't always agree but it's always good to get another educated opinion.

I don't know if you would consider this "inside info" but I coach with another coach who has a good relationship with Brandon and speaks to him every week. They talked a couple weeks ago about his role and he mentioned that it would be expanding, especially since Tiki was on his way to retirement. I know the news about Tiki is relatively new, but this was obviously known in the Giants locker room. Earlier this week the same coach told me that Brandon told him that next year would be his year, and he would be the man in N.Y. Take this for whatever you want but the guy is an animal and is worth a late 1st early 2nd in ANY league next year.

To hell with everyones opinion on this guy. He's always been my favorite player b/c of his confidence in himself and his ability to compete at such a high level and intensity every single sunday! T.O. is a competitor, whether that be on a team level or individual level. Yes, Football is a team sport, but playing the WR position is about individuals showing off their athletic ability and route running in order to get open and make plays. T.O. isn't always being is speaking the truth when he ask, "who can make a plaY?" and then replies, "I CAN!". It's b/c he can make that play that seperates average WR from elite WR. Leave the guy alone, he's an amazing WR and a unbelieveable competitor! Sucks that fans and media can't just take what he says with a grain of salt and pass it off as in the heat of the game, because thats what it usually is. Hopefully he takes it too philly next go round. Lets Go T.O.!!!! P.S. This is coming from a Saints fan who has no affiliation with any team T.O. has played for!
