    joe horn, now

Sorry Devery Henderson kool aid drinkers. He will not be the Saints number 2 as of now. Rookie Marcus Goldston is the number 2 from what I have gathered. Dante was let loose b/c of some internal problems not because they were confident in Devery. Who knows it's the Saints. Why in the hell do I draft their skill players every year.

    Big balls, no brains

If you felt that strongly about the pick then good for you for having a sack. Hope he does great and shuts everyone up!

What do you need from Mike Bell tonight?

Get real, i said underneath it was a joke, kiss my ass if it's gonna be like that. Grow up!

What do you need from Mike Bell tonight?

It was meant to be a joke, if I was serious I would have said an ACL/MCL tear. Notice the "sprain".

What do you need from Mike Bell tonight?

An MCL sprain that keeps him out 6 to 8 weeks.

    Cowboys vs Saints Thread

D@mn shame. If that were Chad Johnson, Randy Moss or TO people would be saying thats one of the greatest catches in a long time. But it's Terry Gleen so it isn't even replayed when the broadcast returns. I guess it pays to be an a$$hole.

Anybody watching this ESPN Fantasy Thing ?

Wow, this is bad! Yet, I cannot take myself away from the TV.

    Jamal Lewis

I don't see what is stopping him from having a 1200-1300 yard season with 10-12 td's. I like him as a solid 2.

  12. Everyone wants to label Bush, referring him to someone in the past. I've heard Barry, Marshall, Tiki, Metcalf, etc............. Did anyone ever stop to think that Reggie Bush is like noone we've ever seen before. Maybe he has his own unique skill set that has been possessed by no other back in the history of this game. My view is that Reggie is his starting his breed of RB that will end up being only a breed of 1. Is he going to rush for 2000yrs one day? Probably not. Will he get you close to 2500 all purpose yards and 20 to 25 TD's in a year? I think thats very very likely starting as soon as next year. Just my 2 cents. Thanks

    Steve Smith Updates?

We draft on the 21st. I'm looking at him hard with my 1st round pick.(We're a ppr league, with conuses for big play TD's) Any news on him in camp or recovery time with that hammy. I'm not having another Joe Horn on my team this season. Thanks in advance.

    Steve Smith Updates?

Thanks for the info but that wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I want to know is, "is he practicing", "is he looking like he's 100 percent in practice", "do they expect him to be 100 percent week one". Questions like that

bump.....this is a legit question, noone has the answer for?

    Ever think about this.....Reggie Bush

COME ON NOW, STOP being rediculous. Norwood and Bush can't even be in the same sentence when it comes to fantasy football. This topic is not based on one pre season performance.

    Ever think about this.....Reggie Bush

But he still can't beat Chuck Norriss's A$$.

    Ever think about this.....Reggie Bush

After you add it like that it seems outrageous for a rookie yes but it's not un-realistic. Tomlinson and Barber have had simliar numbers, not as rookies but still it's not impossible. I have already stated what I think he will do this year, I was posting numbers to try to sell people on him as a possible 1st rounder or early first rounder this year.

    Ever think about this.....Reggie Bush

You figure Reggie gets at least 20-25 touches a game. Break down: 23 touches 15 carries= 6.5 a carry = 97.5 yards (yes he's gonna avg close to that w/limited carries) 6 catches= 7 a catch= 42 yards 2 returns= 15 a ret. = 30 yards *With a chance to take any one of those 23 touches to the house. This is all on your belief on how talented you think he is, and if this per play avgs. are correct. and if you are making the leap to take him that high you do believe is is that talented. Just how much hype your buying into. Lebron James was the last athlete I can remember being hypre this much as a rookie. He didn't disappoint. I don't think Reggie will either.

    Ever think about this.....Reggie Bush

Reggie/Deuce=Ricky/Ronnie last year? Dont think so. Numbers maybe a little similar but in no way will they be used the same way. More TD's and big plays from Reggie and Deuce. Realistic Expectations for both Deuce and Reggie this season: Deuce=950yds rush 12 td's (yes 12 td's), 25 rec 200yds 1td Reggie=800yds rush 7-8td's, 45 rec 500yds 4td's, maybe 250return =1550yds total. If you feel those numbers are worth a 1st round pick then go ahead. I think he's gonna be special, especially in the big play leagues where td's of over 40 and 50yards or worth more. Not worth a 1st round pick but I do think he is a top tier #2 back. This is just my opinion.

Thats kind of a stretch, but if thats your gut feeling on him go ahead.

    Miami/LSU Homers

Nick Saban Has never liked to give 1 running back an extremely heavy workload. Domanick Davis/Lebrandon Toefield-LSU Joe Addai/Shyrone/Justin Vincent/Alley Broussard-LSU-Addai was actually moved to reciever and forced to move back b/c of injuries---good call huh? Joe Addai/Shyrone/Justin Vincent-LSU Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams-Miami Just a little reminder that Saban has always liked to split carries.

    Clinton Portis 20 TD's this season ?

I am extrmely high on Portis also. I have pick 6 and plan on taking him or Steve Smith. I think Saunders will make him into a 1700yd. 16td back this year.

Theory on Having a mid-round pick

I may be way off the wall here but I have this theory if you have one of those mid round picks. Ex: 5,6,7 in an 8 team Draft, 6,7,8 in a 12 team draft. I don't know if it's a concensous that the 1st four picks will be LT, LJ, Alexander and Peyton, but for all my leagues it is. Anyone can make a case for any of those guys being the best at their position. My theory is to ensure that you take the best at the next position available. EX>If you have a middle round pick go ahead and take the best reciever in your opinion and on the way back take Antonio Gates. Yes it seems like a reach but in all actuallity you would have the best WR and best TE in the league. With the depth at RB this year I would think this theory was perfect. I may be thinking way out of the box but I wanted to get everyones opinion? P.S> I have the 6th pick in an 8 team draft and I am debating whether or not to go with this strategy.

Theory on Having a mid-round pick

I also forgot to add that most of the leagues I participate in have big play scoring. (Ex. 40yd TD's and 50yd TD's have bonuses attached). This also makes WR have more value.
