so i recently opened a twitter account pretty much for fantasy football purposes only. i follow schefter, TMR, rotoworld, bleacherreport, sports guy, the onion and ochocinco. all the guy does is tweet. he probably had a dozen tweets today. he's a professional football player, doesnt know his playbook, doesnt even know where to lineup when a play is called, and instead of spending extra time with coaches and brady and learning how to be effective....he's tweeting. either just dumb sht or he's getting paid to plug a product. translation - this guy cud care less about football. he shud be owned in zero percent of leagues unless your league awards points for tweets, then i wud take him first overall. side note, if anybody knows any good stats/updates/info etc people to follow on twitter, please share.

personally i wouldnt start torain over bjge. i know he's the rat, but the sht shanny is pulling this year is mind boggling. i dont think u can start any skins back this week unless u are desperate...i wont trust torain till i see him get the touches.

Jackie Battle. not sure how i feel about it..some stats... Steelers are 12th in rushing yards allowed per game at 107. have allowed 5 rushing tds. 3rd in total chargers are 21st in rushing yards allowed per game at 121. have allowed 3 rushing tds (1 to a qb in tebow). 5th in total ypg allowed. why is todd haley giving red zone carries to javier arenas????? what is wrong with this guy? that scares me...a lot. anybody else out there benching bjge?

should i trade percy harvin for him? I have reggie bush, tolbert, beanie/chester, helu, mccluster (WR only in sportsline)...i lost JC last week. thinking i should sure up my RBs and i dont have problems at WR with vjax, djax, percy, meachem, nelson, danario. leaning towards pulling...any thoughts?

Here's my only concern with Rice... 1. pittsburgh 2. @ten 3. @st. louis 4. Jets 5. Bye it's soooo important in fantasy football to get off to a hot start, i think we can all agree with that. he has a huge chance of not really helping ur fantasy team in 3 out of the first 5 weeks. and i dont think the back-to-back road games @ten and @st. louis are cakewalks either. i understand he's gonna get a huge load and they brought in leach (who nobody made a fuss about for his first 6 seasons in the nfl until foster had his big campaign), but his early schedule could be a headache and put u in a hole. but with that said, leagues arent won in the first round and i'm hoping to get him at 5. just sayin.

hahaha, i think after 2 years, i'm coming to grips with it, but it will sting for as long as i'm a patriots fan, which should be the day i die. and yes, we failed, but i would rather stare history in the face and try to conquer it, than to never try at all. and i'm not trying to make this into a patriots vs. colts thread, because it's not. it's just a thread about the colts being a bunch of losers.

do u really not get it? yes, they will win more games than they lose. yes, they may win the superbowl. but it's all relative. when you're able to achieve something higher and u give it away like they did, they fail. sure, when the season started their goals were to win the south, get the #1 seed in the AFC and after that, win the superbowl. but they were better than a team that cud just do those things..and they never adjusted their goals to fit the circumstances. they either 1) didn't realize their potential (of which we know isn't true because they were asked a million questions about them), or 2) they wimped out. if u were unemployed and you said, "hey, i want a job that pays 100k a year" and u went out and looked for jobs and were offered 2 jobs, one that payed 100k a year and another that payed 200k a year, would you just say..."hey, i wanted 100k and i can get it right there, so i don't want that 200k job, too much pressure with that one, i'm not worth 200k, i just want my 100k and i'm fine with that." seems dumb to me. go for it. you're better than that, don't settle for less. when u settle, you're a gutless loser.

100%. the thing about being a sports fan is that your teams are extensions of you. you get into conversations with other fans about ur teams and most of the time, u want your team to be the more successful. if the colts go on to win the superbowl, i think they become more of a laughing stock, than a point to argue as a colts fan. imagine the conversation... COLTS FAN: my team is the best. we are 2009/10 superbowl champs! YOU: Oh, you mean the year you layed up? when u had a shot to be the only team to go 19-0, but traded it for just yet another lombardi trophy? COLTS FAN: um, whatever, championship! YOU: stay a dime a dozen indianapolis. i'm a patriots fan. and was devistated by going 18-1 in 2007. i couldn't believe we went 18-1 and didn't win the superbowl. but if the colts go 18-1 and win the superbowl, i wouldn't trade our season for theirs. we (the patriots) went for it. we put ourselves in a situation to make history and we came up short, but at least we were there. colts are trying to put themselves in a position to be one of 45 teams to have won the superbowl. they are a joke however this season pans out. they failed. losers no matter what happens now.

if you're going to do something GREAT, dealing with the pressure is part of it. happy with just being mediocre your entire life? then avoid pressure.

honestly, when i was watching it, i felt like indy WANTED to lose the game. worst ever. nfl teams say they play for the fans. take a poll of the fans in that stadium..every single one of them would vote to go for it. if my team did what indy did on sunday, i would think long and hard about rooting for another team. whether it was polian or caldwell ultimately...somebody made a selfish decision and didn't put themselves in the fans shoes. it's the kind of decision that will ruin a season. leave a sour taste in ur mouth. anger a fan base. quite possibly the worst decision i've ever seen made in professional sports.
