Chargers trade CB Davis to 49ers for WR Woods
whoisjgalt replied to Reverend Cleophus James's topic in FFToday Board
Gawd no. With all the problems this team has they don't need to waste good picks on WR's in a year without talent at that position. Use the early picks on the D and the OL, then take a flyer late on a WR. Bryant and Battle aren't anything special, but they are more adequate than several other positions. -

He's been hampered by thumb, hammy, and quad injuries. Yet the Niners were considering cutting him last preseason until he had a big game against the Chargers. Then he spent the entire season on the bench then the IR. Nice size, was an excellent route runner with very good hands in college. Possession type guy with practically no speed. Was drafted in the first round for a reason, but do those reasons still apply? -

How do YOU compare athletically to a crappy NFL prospect?
whoisjgalt replied to t.j's topic in FFToday Board
I'm quite confident that no NFL player can beat me at the 100 butterfly or 100 freestyle. -
Sims won't, Ryans probably will.

Sleepy guy since numbers are supposed to be boring to the mooks.

#15 = 1050 #22 = 780 #93 = 128 (Denver's 3rd) total = 1958 #5 = 1700 so, Walker would be worth 258 which is pick #66 or 67 (an early 3rd) That's the most realistic scenario I've seen listed yet.
-
According to the Draft Value Chart, Denver's pair of first rounders can only get them up to the Jets' pick at #4. They'd need another pick at the #22 valuation to get all the way to #2.
-
That still is assigning too much value to Walker. Pick #2 = pick #5 + pick #18 according to the NFL Draft Value Chart. Is Walker really worth a mid-1st-round pick right now? I'd say .

Now go do Imaboobie's too.

One of? Gibson invented the sci-fi genre. And he remains the best at it (although Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash was as good as Gibson's stuff - Stephenson just didn't continue writing in that genre).

Making Wilzone 10-6 in division. So, you're both 19-17 vs the other divisions.
-
8. I'm 27-9 against the other divisions and 7-9 against my own.

Texans/Moulds agree to contract **OFFICAL**

Perhaps not quite yet ... linkage Also, the Bills might as well keep him at that price. -
The Steve Smith baby-wipe was the one and only time I've laughed out loud at a TD celebration.

If Joey doesn't think he got a fair chance in Detroit, just wait 'til Parcells starts refering to him as "Jodie"
-
If Mike Williams gets any bigger, he might fill one of those Oline needs. They do need to go Oline with at least two of the top four picks. It'd be nice to see either Mangold or Jean-Gilles or one of the better OT's available at 2.08.

Behind the obvious keepers (LJ, SJax, Chad) we've got some other tasty treats that may be interesting to a couple of you: > Corey Dillon > Darrell Jackson > Chris Chambers (We could have been dangerous if we had made the playoffs :sadbanana:.)

Packers sign K Billy Cundiff to replace Longwell
whoisjgalt replied to adam smitty's topic in FFToday Board
I guess that leaves Edinger for NE and GB will want a different kicker by early September. -
linkage The link says that they retain the cap space to match Hutchinson. Seven years, $54m, almost $20m in guarantees. (Don't they realize that he gets hurt a lot?)
-
I'd guess that more depth at Tackle means that Pork Chop Womack will be a starting Guard now (rather than depth at all four tackle/guard positions). They still need to draft a Guard for depth at that position, or sign one without overpaying.
-
 Ferguson is a tackle and Allen is a guard. The Niners can use them both.
