Typical toxic masculinity insult aside, it's not about wanting to give Harvard taxpayer money. The issue is about whether a president can extort private institutions for their own personal agenda. I am against this as should be every American. The distraction is having sympathy for an institution that has a giant endowment. It's hard to argue that they should get taxpayer money. What I will say is that these grants go to research, hospitals, etc. The funding helps people and saves lives. It's not paying tuition for a foreign grad student to get a degree in America hating.
