I'll try and explain it to you. It's estimated that treatment for illegals accounts for 15% of unpaid bills. If hospitals stopped treating illegals tomorrow and reduced their unpaid bills by 15%, they would still be in debt. I know you never went to college but this is not a difficult concept. Your child like observation of 15% less debt is better than 15% more debt aside, it doesn't solve the problem.
