No one knows if he keeps the tariffs or chickens out. He's a madman. What we do know is that if he keeps these tariffs on Aug 1, economy and market will suffer. If he tacos we should be ok. If he really tacos and says no more tariffs for good, to the moon cause then we're getting a rate cut

No I've been pretty much right except for the chickening out. I have no idea what's going to happen. No one does. But my point is that the tariffs are bad for the economy and bad for the market as evidence by what has happened this year. Who knows what happens next. I have no plans but to hold on.

Trump gave a 90 day pause on his tariffs. 90 deals in 90 days they said. Art of the deal they said. They said the phones are ringing off the hook. He said everyone is kissing his ass. Bessent said no one called. 90 days and 2 deals. Now they're setting tariffs again with another 30 day pause. Will they go into effect? Will there be another pause? Is this all for attention? Is he manipulating the market? Pure incompetence?

Let's see if you are capable of honest discussion here. Why did the market drop 20% starting with tariff talk, liberation day and then up to pausing the tariffs? Why did the market return after Trump paused the tariffs and talked about making deals? Why did the market drop 500 points today with Trump now saying tariffs will go back on Aug 1?

So it's just a coincidence that the market and the tariffs have an inverse relationship?
