Based on your logic, wouldn't the Republicans want to introduce legislation to end gerrymandering now that they control both? Instead they are trying to use it to gain more seats. Interesting huh? So then we need to look at what states did from 2016 - 2020, right? Zero states had new maps in 2020 vs 2016. The last round of gerrymandering was in 2011 following the 2010 census, 5 republican states vs 2 democrat states. It appears as though your assertion that Dems gained power in 2020 due to gerrymander is without basis. But I'll give you a chance to prove me wrong. What did I miss?
