We just saw the first contraction in years, unemployment has ticked up, businesses are not spending money as they wait for the chaos to subside, tariffs are finding their way into the supply chain, inflation is increasing, confidence is low, etc. there are lots of signs of trouble ahead.

I'm right here. I never panic sold anything. The economy has taken a downturn the past quarter since Trump imposed tariffs. He paused tariffs to ease the pain. We don't know what is coming next.

Same here. I have two daughters same age, plus an almost 20 son. I think it has more to do with NATO knowing how to play Trump now. Before they stood up to him, now they know that they can just kiss his ass, bribe him, make him look good and he'll do whatever they want. Netanyahu knows this, the rest of the world is catching on.

I too remain wary if it was needed and how successful it was. Iran and its proxies weaknesses has been growing the past few years. Perhaps this is the death knell that brings Iran to the table of responsible ME countries and a lasting peace can be forged. I am quite skeptical of that. Would be a great outcome for the world.

There is nothing in Jane's story about "feeling the warning signs" in fact she talks about the exact opposite, how he made her feel comfortable, up to the point her raped her. I'm sure you're not suggesting that all women should assume men are all rapists but that is what you're implying. Vigilance is good, but we as men need to stop raping women and hold each other accountable to treat women with dignity and respect. Going down the "she was asking for it" slope does the opposite.
