FCC approves Verizon acquisition of Frontier for DEI

It is illegal to hire people based on protected class. You can have targets, which are loose goals, but not quotas where you have to hire a certain number of color people.

Companies don't hire on quota. It is illegal to hire someone based on race or other protected status.

FCC approves Verizon acquisition of Frontier for DEI

It's not racist or against the law or the constitution. If it was, then the DOJ could prosecute Verizon. But they can't, so they strongarm them, blackmail them, to get them to adopt their practices.

If the Biden admin only approved mergers on the condition of that the corporations adopt green energy the magas would lose their sh1t. Rightfully so, but they're ok with this. Hypoc(R)isy.
  9. I think he's feeling emboldened after a week of getting his ass kissed by terrorists. Couple that with the market rebound. He says he's not doing deals anymore and will just set whatever rates he wants. Liberation Day 2: Electric Boogaloo I would say 65% chance he actually does this and we get another negative reaction in the markets.

  12. He clearly shouldn't have posted it. It was stupid. Should he be in prison for it? Of course not. What is an actual threat to assassinate? Of course not. You're acting hysterical.
  13. So when it comes to assassination threats, you're saying former directors of the FBI demand more scrutiny than other people? What about a former president posting a picture of a current president tied up in a trunk?
