I came back here after deleting my account at the original sanctuary. Wanted something else to do as a break form work. We have a new Sanctuary now but traffic is very light.

While I agree with you that too many have been let in the past few years and I'm fine with deporting them and the criminals, it's the people that have been here for a long time, have children who are citizens, pay taxes, have positive impacts to their communities that I don't like seeing deported. Also there are numerous studies done that show that immigrants are a net positive economic gain, not a deficit.

You at least try to have honest debate which I appreciate. Your problem is you're not too educated so once you lose then you just go with the personal attacks. But sure let's go. Are we better off with less people? You mean the US or globally? Let's assume US as you're probably going with the deportation angle. We definitely have an unfunded obligations issue. People are living longer and becoming too expensive. I do not support deporting or murdering these people, that's inhumane. We need to figure out how to do more (or same) with less. Deporting younger workers who are actually a surplus is not the answer. Who knows what the answer is but it's probably a combination of growing the tax base, increasing revenues with higher taxes for those that can afford it, and figuring out how to spend less money on our obligations.

Sure I would love an honest debate but it's very rare here. I've mostly given up on it after years of being called every disgusting name in the book. I still try but there aren't many people here interested.
