Blaming Biden's rhetoric for a spike in oil prices is lazy and anti intellectual. The spike in oil prices in 2021 was caused by again, increased demand post COVID, opec, and a slow rebound in supply. I do. I didn't think that Biden needed to hand out more money, and I think it affected inflation. I also think Trump's handout affected inflation and given Trump's hand outs were 1.5x the effect was 1.5x

How many times do I have to tell you in doesn't matter. Monetary policy doesn't care about politics. Trump spent almost twice as much as Biden, therefore almost twice the inflationary impact. If there was a law passed today that gave every American a million dollars, and every dem and rep voted for it, it still increases inflation.

Need doesn't matter nor does need impact the numbers. When money is injected into the system, inflationary pressure increases. It's monetary policy not politics.
