There is probably some lag in the emulator and you're probably using an LED TV with lag. I've gone down this road. I beat Tyson a dozen or so times as a kid, played on an emulator and couldn't get past soda popinski. Finally bought an original NES, original Tyson Punch out (not Mr dream). TV is next, you need a TV with very low input lag. OLED is best, a good led is fine with game mode. I have a high end Samsung with game mode and it worked. Was finally able to beat Tyson again.
